Age 30, elite TE retirement....ok.... LOL

That's just incredibly absurd.

I'll hang in but that just *^%$'ed me over.

Youngest to retire at age 30, did a search saw 2-3 31s and others much older. If I experience enough of these 'firsts' I know where I'll head with it.

I have read in the forums that injuries tend to speed retirement. Lyons had sustained 23 regular injuries and two serious injuries. If this "forum wisdom" is correct, I am not as surprised as when I first read your post.

That's fair then. Maybe that was in play. I've never really looked at that element: injuries and the early retirement. I guess it's a thing!

I've seen JDB mention it.

The more layers the game has, the better.
