Thanks but nobody has voted to keep it where it is now, not one single vote. I did not provide an option to raise it because I don't want that. In a few days, I may send out PMs to everyone asking them to vote because we do need more than 8/32 voting.

I was hoping one option would be a clear winner but that's not looking likely at this point. The only thing clear so far is that everyone wants it lowered. When the voting is done, I'll have some options if the vote continues to be even. I could not change anything, but that would go against the voter's wishes. I could do a revote, but why? To get the same muddied results?

I could just pick an option but I'm liking the staggering thing. Players start with low conditioning so having a zero injury meter then would allow players to build up some conditioning heading into the next game where the injury meter is 26, and so on.

Great idea.

Please PM JDB to implement in the MFN-# leagues. Perfect solution.

I'll put it in the suggestion box but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Thank you, Greg.

It goes right with the 1-click, $1 raise for the 12 coaches @ FA #1 that I tried to get out there on the board.

I have always liked this idea

I hate to play devil's advocate when it comes to injuries but San Jose has 60 players on their roster.

Only 56 saw snaps in preseason week 1.

There was 158 snaps which includes 84 offensive, 50 defensive and 24 special teams snaps.

That's a total of 1,738 plays (158 snaps×11).

40 of the 60 players played 1683 of the 1738 plays or 96.8%.

That means 20 players on the roster played 3.2% of all snaps which includes the 4 players that had 0 plays.

Injured players

Ivan Humphrey 49 plays
Jeffrey Richins 48 plays
Steve Haywood 30 plays

Jarrell Casey 36 plays (no special teams)
Elton Roberts 33 plays

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

I get it, injuries **** but there are ways to minimize them especially in the preseason.

Simply stuff like pull starters after 2 quarters, deactivate the 2 pt conversion rule and go for it on 4th down rule. Lower fatigue to 20-25.

****, your LT1 played 91 snaps!!! That was luck he wasn't injured

You realize I don't bother engaging with you due to being a league admin and the advantage that entails. I just hit the lab and keep banging out game after game.

I remember when I kept getting about how I play CB and WRs @ RB and it's how I win from people and then the XFL wins with the many rules and this usfl one disproved that.

I agree with what CJ says, and we are getting a little too focused on 1 team. If you look at the time stamp, I brought this up yesterday afternoon before our games were played, and I don't want people thinking this is a Smirt rule.

I'm not necessarily trying to eliminate all injuries, but I would like to see less preseason injuries across the board.

I usually have my fatigue set at 33 for preseason, but I just checked and I forgot to slide it back and ran at 50 fatigue. That explains how one of my DTs played 76 snaps.

No matter where I set the slider, as long as it's higher than zero, injuries will happen. I do recommend everyone adjust their fatigue and take the steps to try and minimize injuries with the understanding they can and will still happen next season.

RB - Wehner update:
After his first carry being stopped at the line of scrimmage, it was hard to see his blazing speed. Then his second carry came and he ripped off a 10 yd run off the 4 hole (or 2 hole if you use the center as the 0 hole) I was thinking he looks a lil slow but not as much as I would have thought. Blocking was great on that play.

Then the rest of the game came, and whoa. He ran like he was towing a covered wagon loaded to last 30 days on the range. He was so slow that holes would open up, then close then open up again then close again before he got there. The crowd was chanting "Here we go turtle here we go - - -clap-clap".

And sums up the Wehner experiment. The Bulls are going to keep him on the roster thru pre-season as he did draw millions of viewers thru out the country. In the end he can tell his grandchildren that he was drafted in the 5th carried the ball 11 times and averaged over 2 yds per carry. Which was 1 yd more than starting RB Wagner. Who himself caught a lot of flack from the team including Wehner in the locker room after the game.
