Good news on all fronts this training camp. Most importantly RB/FB Donald Wehner maintained his 19 speed and might be the slowest back or player for that matter the USFL has ever seen. He will get extensive playing time with the 1st team in the upcoming pre-season game.
Ya-know.....for the fans.

On a small side note:
I'm coming up on my 7th year anniversary (next month) since I started playing MFN. This is the first time that I have ever had all my draft picks boom. Boom I tell ya. Well ok, Wehner busted 6 points. Are ya gonna hold that against me? **** I barely know what the word boom means. I do have great knowledge of the word bust though.

Now granted I cut a couple of em before camp and traded away my 4th round pick. Even though it was just 4 (cough-cough 3) players Im marking it down. :)

That's a 74% injury rate.

Goes to show what a 100% injury rate @ Preseason Game #1 = in terms of 'caring for the customer' and the rather mean-spirited thought process behind it.

By all means, pour your heart into preparing for the season and now watch my next trick as I, the sim God, send lightning bolts striking down on your main chess pieces.

ZAP! I'll take him and ZAP! I'll take him, too. LOL

Put in effort level, immediately lose players you strated deep for in the upcoming season.

JDB is a one man band running this game, and doesn't seem to have the time to fix the game's issues right now. The issues being some of the code he has written making the game not work properly. Yet this same JDB supposedly writes code to specifically injure Smirt's playmakers?

I hope this is just your way of blowing off steam.

No.

I meant generally speaking over the entire time for everyone - 100 injury rate @ Preseason Game #1 is disrespectful for the person who sits down after training camp and takes the time out to work incredibly hard to put forth a season game plan only for a mean spirited set up to hack away at your key players before conditioning is built up.

You gotta be mean spirited if you know people are working hard and the code comes right in like a WHAMMY to take away your fun aka the needle moving players.

When I say you - I meant JDB so you don't read into it wrong.

I guess we differ on what we think JDB's intent is. I think injuries are just random and during preseason game 1, players are more susceptible to injury due to low conditioning. I really don't think JDB is targeting anyone specific and I don't think he was being mean spirited when he wrote the code. I think it's just part of the RNG rolls during each play.

I do agree preseason injuries ****, and while it won't help you now, the voting says preseason injury rate will be lower in the future.

If the votes continue to be evenly distributed between 0, 26, and 50 I have a possible solution. Rather than revote, I am thinking do it in stages. Preseason game 1, injury slider at 0. Preseason game 2, injury slider at 26, preseason game 3 injury slider at 50, then 100 for regular season.

See and I was nice. I voted for 50.

The injuries won't stop me. I already submitted my game plan in the early morning hours. What it does is make me reflect. I think about my effort level going in and then particularly my WR #2 injury and how I got about 3 play maker injuries and then I take it to my next game I work on or a Public League board where I can talk ....over time I've built up quite the fireball of enraged energy to bring to each game. :)

You do a great job with the league and 74% is perfectly fine....I'm like Jordan or Jeter finding the one more disrespect pile to motivate me. (i.e. injuries after time dedication spent)
