Week 6 had some interesting results:

* We had 3 shutouts, Washington 22-0 over Shreveport, Birmingham 34-0 over Pittsburgh and Portland 7-0 over Jacksonville

* In probably the biggest upset of the year, the previously winless Oklahoma Outlaws defeated the previously undefeated Chicago Blitz 16-3

* Oklahoma wasn't the only team to get off the schneid as the San Jose SaberCats defeated Southern California Sun 23-17

* Only 1 division leader has more than a 2 game lead, the Tampa Bay Bandits

* We have 3 undefeated teams at 6-0: Defending Champs Houston, the Denver Gold and Baltimore Stars

* We have 2 winless teams at 0-6: Florida Blazers and Charlotte Hornets

Key week 7 games: South Division showdown Georgia (4-2) @ Birmingham (5-1) and the MFN Game of the Week (5-1) Los Angeles Express at (3-3) Cleveland Thunderbolts

Eventually I will do these on the blog, once I get my new routine down. Kind of ran out of time and alertness this morning, as I wanted to go into more detail on the games. I work nights so I'm heading to bed.

That was a wild one, Gunslingers. I haven't had a game in which both QBs threw for 300 in a long time. I'm not sure I've had a game in which either QB threw for 300 in a while ...

Good game San Jose, SaberCats gave the Generals a battle.

I'm compiling week 7 notes, 11 games in and already found 2 games with over 1000 combined yards. The Sun and Hawaiians combined for 1002 yards, while Florida and Orlando combined for 1061, 682 of those from Florida. On the flipside, Philadelphia only had 166 yards and Boston 194, yet both won.
