Robles is an 11-year vet and I never ever re-work over-rides in-season unless someone chirps on the board before the game and my play makers are mangled. (rare)
But, yes, there was no chance this game was going to see anything but my set over-rides. Dorey out just implodes everything to a '?.'
Had I won I probably sit him here to HHH and try to win without him. Opposing GM bases a lot of my decisions, tbh and whether I like them or not in this case LOL :P
Reading your blog now. The analytics....now I see what you mean. nods I need it to accelerate and kick in. My seasonal plan is meant to shock and awe; revolutionize. Need a couple players to complete weight loss and for the plays to super charge. Thanks for the props.
It's like Minnesota vs Seattle this past Sunday night. Vikings had a lead and went for it on 4th and 1 rather than kick a FG. Old school coaches kick there but analytics said go for it, as a conversion all but seals the win, and a FG barely moves the needle. Even though it didn't work, most agree Zimmer made the right call.
Also, early on in the game and I run a pretty tough defense - lets say I fail.
Opponent gets the ball with a short field. If I can make it a short possession with allowing only 3 points the ball flips back over to me to put more pressure on the opposing defense.
I just can't allow touchdowns.

gg Gamblers. The Gold won, but it was costly - I think half my starting defense now has an injury.
A good offensive game...the red zone was the difference. You had 3 TDs on 3 redzone visits while I only had 1 TD and 2 FGs on 4 redzone visits.
Good luck going forward...hope we meet again in the playoffs.
Let's see who's next....hmm
Generals...come out and play
Oops! Misread post. Thought I was playin ya after Baltimore.

Good game Memphis... tried to hang with you guys as long as we could. On to the next one we go...
Here is your Maulers Misery Fun Fact for today: * Pittsburgh has lost 15 consecutive games vs. Washington * Pittsburgh has lost 14 consecutive games vs. Baltimore
Today's loss vs. New York Stars wasn't as horrible overall as I expected. Teams were even in yardage, but Stars had a fumble return for a TD and an interception return for a TD—the kind of stuff that happens to bad teams.
