The league's all-time passing leader and all-time receiving leader change uniforms during free agency and some retirements mean a more robust Hall of Fame ballot.

I place high value on DB's, does it show? Also very careful with my cap.

I dont get how you got them with such low guaranteed money... Doesnt make sense on how the FA has been explained to me. The important thing was only the bonus money;
"A player Will sign with who gives them the most guaranteed money, point"
Is there something i dont know?

It is a valid question. And, whoever you are quoting above was incorrect.

JDB says bonus money has a larger influence, but it is not the only thing that matters.
Here is Borkowski.

He fielded eight offers. But Portland's total offer ($102.8 million) was so much higher than Charlotte's ($30.5 million) that it overcame the extra bonus money Charlotte offered.

I think you are getting resigned contracts and free agency muddled together Alex

Nope. Memory as clear as water.
There wasnt anything else than guaranteed money in the decision, what he wrote long ago when i started playing.
I guess you learn something new everyday. This is just a shocker that its just now that im hearing it for the first time. Ill have to adjust my FA mentality.
I was wondering why so many teams were going for super stupid 6years deal on cleats hangers ... Now it makes more sense

What was the difference in guaranteed money?

I just saw the contract. Yeah. That’s a bunch of BS. In that case you can throw a max contract out there and void it after one year. I learned something new too

I need to study up on this but I've heard rumblings of a change.

It indeed was whomever tossed out the most bonus $$$ got the player. This really changes things if there was a shift.

Nothing else factored in. Every single time it was win the bonus $$$ game and the player was yours from my experience.
