Week 14 is complete and the playoffs are just around the corner. This late in the season usually gives us important games for the playoff picture and this week was no exception.

Jacksonville and Orlando came into their game tied atop the Southeast, and having beaten Orlando earlier, a Bulls win will put them firmly in the drivers seat to win the division. Orlando wouldn't go down without a fight and each of the 3 scores in the second half resulted in a lead change.

Jacksonville won the game 23-20 with the game winning score coming in the final 2 minutes. The first half was evenly matched as Orlando scored the first 10 points, Jacksonville the next 10 and the halftime score was 13-13. Jacksonville broke the tie with a FG late in the 3rd, then a Thomas Gilbert TD run gave Orlando the lead with 5:45 to play. The Renegades defense forced a punt and looked to be driving for more points before Larry Jung lost a fumble after a pass reception, giving the Bulls new life. William Barron found Francisco Burke for a 42 yard TD pass a few plays later for the game winning TD.

Washington snapped Denver's 9 game winning streak with a 27-24 win. This was a back and forth game in the first half as Washington took a 6-0 lead on a pair of FGs before Denver took a 7-6 lead on the first of 3 Kevin Via TD passes. Michael Erickson struck right back with a 75 yard TD pass to William McDuffie. As they approached the 2 minute warning of the first half, Via found Christopher Cook for an 86 yard TD and a brief 14-13 lead before William Flock took the kickoff 106 yards for a score. That gave the Federals a 20-14 halftime lead. Denver was able to cut the lead down to 3 points twice in the second half but that's as close as they could get as Washington holds on for the win.

Michigan beat Portland 17-10, scoring a pair of 4th qtr TDs for the come from behind win. Portland led 10-3 after 3 qtrs in a defensive struggle but Charles Keller had a 10 yard TD run early in the 4th with the XP tying the game at 10. Willie Reddish had the Panthers in game winning FG range as the clock was winding down, but he decided to keep the game in his hands. Reddish found Alvin Eckenrode for a 28 yard TD with 0:20 to play to give the Panthers the win.

The beat rolls on for New Orleans as the VooDoo improve to 14-0 with a 31-0 win over Birmingham. James Wright completed 28/45, 450 yards, and 3 TDs to lead the VooDoo to victory. Nicholas Reyes caught 10 for 161 yards, Charles Grogan caught 5 for 113 and a TD while Howard Becker had a combined 143 yards and a rushing TD (65 rushing, 3-78 receiving). Defensively they intercepted Jon Foster twice and sacked him twice, holding the Stallions to 174 total yards.

San Antonio beat Oklahoma 20-3 behind 2 TD passes by George Warner. Warner finished with 330 yards passing to 8 different receivers, 4 having between 53-83 yards. Glenn Graham led the way, catching 9 for 83 yards to go with 37 hard fought rushing yards in 14 carries. Stephen Morrow replaced Robert North at QB for Oklahoma, and while there were no turnovers, the offense couldn't get going against the tough Gunslingers defense.

Houston beat Oakland 36-17 to clinch a playoff spot while either severely hurting or outright eliminating Oakland in the process, depending on whom you talk to. Houston quietly has the league's 4th ranked defense and they shut down the Invaders run game today, holding them to 1 yard a carry and forcing 4 fumbles, recovering 2. Dale Baber threw for 278 yards and 2 TD passes to Under Taker, who caught 6 for 109 yards. The Gamblers got out to a 30-0 lead before taking their foot off the gas.

San Jose beat Los Angeles 44-12. Myron Dustin completed 42/67, 467 yards, 6 TDs, 5 INTs, and 4 sacks taken. Lynn McLaurin caught 20 for 259 yards and 2 TDs and Perry Nelson had 7 for 101 and 2 scores. The turnovers didn't hurt because the SaberCats defense had 9 sacks and an INT themselves and held the Express to 85 total yards. When Los Angeles did score, it was FGs while San Jose was scoring TDs.

Honolulu beat Southern California 37-7. Victor Russell completed 28/40, 275 yards, 3 TDs and an INT. James Shick had 138 combined yards, including 105 and a TD on the ground. Fred Thomas caught 7 for 114 yards and a TD. Defensively, the Hawaiians had 3 sacks and 3 INTs, and held the Sun to 187 total yards.

Memphis got a 4th qtr TD pass from Gary Westerfield to beat Arizona 13-6. The Showboats and Wranglers played a hard hitting defensive game today as both teams could manage just 2 FGs each the first 55 minutes of the game. Arizona lost 2 fumbles in the 4th qtr, one to set up Westerfield's game winning TD pass to Benny Davis with the other fumble thwarting a promising drive. Westerfield finished 21/25, 112 yards and a TD while Gary Hoffman needed 31 carries to run for 101 yards.

New York beat Boston 21-3 in a game where red zone drives went to die. The Stars had 7 red zone drives, getting just 1 TD and settling for 5 FGs. New York ran for 248 yards and a TD, getting 100 yard games from Sleepy Sandmann (14-109) and James Luna (16-104-1). The New York defense bent but didn't break, forcing no turnovers, getting 3 sacks and allowing 190 total yards. Felipe Norfleet missed a pair of FG tries that could have made the game closer.

Shreveport beat Georgia 9-0 to keep themselves in a wildcard spot. Not much to talk about stat wise as neither offense topped 170 yards and we saw 3 FGs for all the scoring. Shreveport allowed Michael Applebaum to be sacked 4 times but the Steamer did not turn the ball over while they intercepted Georgia QB Adam Patrick twice and sacked him 8 times. Oscar Hall booted 3 FGs to account for the points.

Baltimore upset Pittsburgh 24-20 as Rodger Brown ties a league record with 3 kickoff return TDs in a single game. Gregory Shea of Memphis did it first in 1977 and it wasn't done again until New Jersey's Calvin Rose had 3 in 2008. The next season, 2009, saw Southern California returner Ryan Habib do it, then obviously today. Thomas Hampton got the scoring underway for Pittsburgh with a 94 yard TD to Marc Morgan but Brown's first TD covered 105 yards to tie it. Baltimore added a FG for a 10-7 halftime lead. Andrew Paul had a short TD run to briefly give the Maulers the lead again before Brown's 2nd kickoff return TD went for 102 yards to give Baltimore a 17-14 lead. Pittsburgh would add a pair of FGs, one late 3rd to tie the game at 17, the other mid 4th for a 20-17 lead. You know what happened next, as Brown's 3rd kickoff return TD covered 106 yards. Pittsburgh had 381 yards of offense but Thomas Hampton threw 3 INTs to sort of cancel out the 4 turnovers the Maulers defense forced.

Tampa Bay beat Charlotte 20-10 to stay within reach of the current playoff teams if one falls out of the race. Carl Gillard had a combined 122 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Bandits offense. Gillard ran for 100 and 1 score while catching 3 for 22 yards and David Fields' lone TD pass. Charlotte managed just 203 yards of offense with 75 coming on a Keith Carter TD pass to Jerry Touchet, helping Touchet finish with 120 receiving yards for the game.

Detroit beat Cleveland 30-17. Matthew Reese ran for 129 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Wheels offense while Anthony Kam scored on a 106 yard kickoff return and Raymond Parkman sacked Carl Langlois in the end zone for a safety. Christopher Weston ran for 2 TDs in the 1st qtr for Cleveland but the Detroit defense held the offense in check the rest of the game.

Philadelphia beat New Jersey 30-20 as Generals killer Jason Wharton caught 8 for 221 yards and 3 TDs. Wharton loves playing against New Jersey as he's had some of his biggest stat lines against them. Joel Jasso also wishes he could play New Jersey more as he played more like his old self today, completing 23/37, 268 yards, 3 TDs, and just 2 sacks taken. New Jersey finally had a big passing day for their offense as Sam Axe threw for 353 yards and 2 TDs but he also threw 2 INTs as the worst season in New Jersey history continues.

Chicago beat Florida 19-0 as Marco Anderson ran for 102 yards and a TD. Samuel Diaz added 4 FGs in 5 attempts while the Blitz defense had 4 sacks and 3 turnovers. Chicago QB Douglas Lee threw for 231 yards and showed off his scrambling ability, gaining 58 yards on 2 runs.

I'll get to the Week 15 games either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, but for now I want to look at stats since it's been awhile and the season is ending.

Passing

Myron Dustin, San Jose will be the passing yards leader. Dustin has 5,642 yards and next is James Wright (NO) with 4,878. Willie Reddish (Mich) is 3rd with 4,726.

James Wright leads in TD passes with 41, Willie Reddish is next at 37 while Myron Dustin is tied for 3rd place with Michael Erickson of Washington with 34 TD passes.

Willie Reddish has the best QBR at 105.68 followed by the 103.95 of Michael Erickson. Oakland QB Domingo Robinson is 3rd with a QBR of 98.48.

Reddish (8.13) and Erickson (8.05) were the only starting QBs over 8 yards an attempt. Myron Dustin is close at 7.96.

Domingo Robinson leads in completion percentage (70.3%) with Victor Russell (Honolulu) 2nd at 69% and Shreveport QB Michael Applebaum is 3rd at 68.6%.

Now for categories you don't want to lead...Joel Jasso, Philadelphia has thrown the most INTs with 27. Dale Baber of Houston has thrown 24 while Myron Dustin and James Wright have thrown 23 each.

Nicholas Meis, Florida has been sacked 89 times. Adam Patrick (Georgia) and Joel Jasso have been sacked 76 times.

Rushing

When I looked at the mid season stats we had some runners on pace for historic seasons but that pace fell off down the stretch. We still have a 3 way race for the rushing title.

George Hoffman, Memphis, currently leads the league with 1,391 rushing yards. Tampa Bay's Carl Gillard is next with 1,343 while Orlando rookie Giuseppe Jones is 3rd with 1,316. We currently have 9 runners with over 1,000 yards and another 4 within 70 yards.

My computer is acting strange so I'm going to post this before I lose it. The stat page I was looking at on another tab crashed and reset and I'm afraid this might too.

I had to copy and paste the previous message from another tab that was not responding. Let's try to continue.

We have 5 runners with double digit TDs so far. James Ford (Washington) and Kevin Hillman are tied for the lead with 12 TD runs. Giuseppe Jones and Howard Becker (New Orleans) have 11 TDs while Glenn Graham (San Antonio) has 10. Randy Schmidt (Memphis) and Mark Reyes (Denver) have 9 each.

Receiving

Nicholas Reyes, New Orleans leads the league with 2,031 receiving yards. Lynn McLaurin, San Jose is nipping at his heels with 1,983 yards. William Barrett, Michigan is 3rd with 1,722. We currently have 7 receivers over 1,000 yards with 5 more in the 900's.

William Barrett has 14 TD receptions to lead the league. Fred Thomas of Honolulu and Washington's Jacob Hazlett are next with 10 each.

Returns

We've had 21 kickoff return TDs this season and it seems as though half have come in the last couple weeks.

Rodger Brown, Baltimore, has 5 total kickoff return TDs after getting 3 in Week 14 alone and he leads the league. Barry Stringfellow of Birmingham has 2, including a walk off and Denver's Kevin Hillman also has 2. The record for most kickoff returns for a TD in a season is 6, so watch out for Rodger Brown tomorrow night.

We've had 6 punt return TDs this season by 4 players. Washington's William Flock is tied with David Ellison of New Orleans with 2 each. Barry Stringfellow has 1 as does Arizona's Michael Chapin.

Had to do the same thing again, idk what's going on.

Kicking

Portland's Aaron David has 40 FGs made to lead the league.

Daniel Beaupre of Oklahoma is a perfect 14/14 on FGs this season, though he hasn't tried a FG longer than 49 yards.

Raymond Everson, Southern California has made 27/28, 96.4% to lead in kick percentage among kickers with 1 attempt per game. Beaupre is 1 kick short.

Los Angeles kicker Lawrence Trujillo is a perfect 12/12 on 50+ yard FGs. Birmingham kicker Jeffrey Long is 10/11 from distance.

Punting

Punters are people too and we need them on our teams. Do we really need to talk about their stats? Does anyone care? With my computer giving me the provrbial middle finger today, I'm skipping this.

Defense

Philadelphia SLB Wayne Allen leads the league with 130 tackles. CB's Kelly James (Boston) and William Austin (LA) are next with 121 and 113 respectively.

People want realism in MFN? Nobody talks about CBs making tackles. If you've ever played IDP fantasy (individual defensive players), you know in the real life NFL, CBs don't tackle for ****. LBs are king, as are edge rushers. When filling out your DBs, you want safeties, not corners. Anyway, rant over.

We have a good sack race going to the wire. Orlando's Jimmy Laforge is tied with Houston's Jeffery Hebert with 23 sacks while Shreveport's Charles Gilliam is 3rd with 21.

Hurries finds 7 players between 19-21 so this list is subject to change after Week 16.

The INT race is jumbled too, so here it is in picture form

Week 15 is complete and I've already looked at the playoff picture and the stat leaders. This was a make or break week for some teams, stay alive week for others while still more teams play out the string.

New Orleans had already clinched home field but as far as I can tell they didn't bench anybody against San Jose. The SaberCats definitely needed this win more, and they got it by a score of 18-7. It looks like both defenses concentrated on stopping the pass while ignoring the running game as San Jose ran for 230 yards and 2 TDs while New Orleans ran for 151 and 1. The VooDoo had far less carries, averaging nearly 8 yards a carry while San Jose ran for nearly 5 ypc. Myron Dustin was just 10/23, 84 yards but he took no sacks and threw no INTs while James Wright was 22/50, 168 yards and 6 INTs. Lynn McLaurin ran for 126 yards to lead San Jose while Gerald Waldon led the VooDoo with 101 yards. Richard Dickinson had 4 of the 6 INTs of Wright.

Birmingham beat Honolulu 23-7, hurting the Hawaiians playoff chances. The Stallions haven't been happy with their QB play most of the season so they leaned heavily on the running game today. It paid off as Gary May (114 yards) and Philip Snyder (103 yards) topped 100 yards today. Neither back scored but they helped set up Jon Foster's 2 TD passes. Foster was just 11/17, 114 yards but no INTs. The Birmingham defense forced no turnovers but held Honolulu to 134 total yards.

Denver beat Michigan 33-17 to clinch the West. It was the Kevin Hillman Show today as Hillman ran for 170 yards and 2 TDs, caught 4 passes for 12 yards and had a 110 yard kickoff return TD to open the second half. Michigan led at the half 14-10 and they tied the game at 17 following Hillman's kickoff return but the Gold score the final 16 points for the victory. Willie Reddish threw for 328 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT with William Barrett catching the score among his 8 for 105 yards.

Pittsburgh beat Washington 27-24 to clinch a wildcard berth. Kenneth Allen ran for 111 yards and a TD while Thomas Hampton hardly saw a pass hit the ground, completing 19/23, 263 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs.

That glitch is coming back each time I switch tabs. I keep one tab open to the box scores and the other here. Hard to do when I get **** everytime I switch.

Arthur Ortega caught 5 for 153 yards and 2 TDs for Pittsburgh. Michael Erickson completed 23/42, 265 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, and 4 sacks taken. This was a back and forth game all the way and Washington had a 24-17 lead in the 3rd before Pittsburgh scored the next 10 for a 27-24 lead early in the 4th. The Maulers defense kept the Federals from scoring in the 4th to win the game and punch their playoff ticket.

Orlando beat Cleveland 42-7 to clinch a wildcard berth. Rookie RB Giuseppe Jones pulled an Al Bundy, rushing for 4 TDs and 158 yards to lead the offense. Michael Smith did throw 3 INTs but also 2 TD passes. The Renegades defense forced 5 fumbles, recovering all 5 and they sacked Carl Langlois 5 times en route to holding Cleveland to 139 yards of offense.

Shreveport beat Los Angeles 3-0 to keep their playoff hopes alive. Frederick Martin ran for 106 yards to lead the Steamer offense while the defense had 6 sacks and 2 INTs. Oscar Hall's 34 yard FG with 4:26 left in the 3rd accounted for all of the scoring.

Jacksonville clinches the Southwest with a 33-7 win over Detroit. Jacksonville ran for 265 yards and a TD, led by Harry Graves, who had 104 yards. James Aguirre ran for 93 and a TD while catching 5 for 25 yards and another TD. William Barron threw for 293 yards and 2 TDs with 1 sack and 1 INT while the Bulls defense forced a fumble and had 6 sacks.

Houston beat Oklahoma 24-16. The Outlaws passed nearly every down and Stephen Morrow completed 39/63, 330 yards, 2 TDs, and 8 sacks taken. Oklahoma lost but they have to be happy Morrow involved Domenic Winstead, who caught 14 for 141 yards. Jeffery Hebert had 6 of the 8 sacks for Houston today. Dale Baber threw for 252 yards and 2 TDs while spreading the ball around. The Gamblers led 21-10 in the 4th when the Outlaws scored at the 2 minute warning but the 2 point try failed, as did the onside kick and the Gamblers added a FG at the gun for a final of 24-16.

Glitch looks like it's starting again.

San Antonio beat New York 23-0 in a battle of division winners. The New York defense did a decent job against the Gunslingers offense but Jamie Orman put the Stars in an early hole with a Pick Six. Patrick Gilbert did the honors and it didn't get much better for the New York offense. The Stars finished with 4 turnovers, 2 INTs and 2 lost fumbles, took 3 sacks and finished with 153 total yards. Glenn Graham ran for 92 yards for the Gunslingers while Daniel Cruz caught 11 for 88 yards to lead the receivers. Dennis Lovett added 3 FGs for San Antonio.

Portland outlasted Arizona, winning 17-13 to stay in the playoff hunt. The first half was tight with Portland leading 14-13. Arizona's offense did very little in the second half while Portland moved the ball well but suffered a couple of turnovers and a missed 4th down conversion. Portland finally scored inside the 2 minute warning to push the lead to 4. Portland's rushers combined for 212 yards and a TD, led by Robert Settle's 92 yards.

Memphis rallied late to beat Philadelphia 17-16. Philadelphia QB Joel Jasso threw for 350 yards and a TD, finding Jason Wharton 4 times for 163 yards. Philadelphia kicker John Dean's 3rd FG gave Philadelphia a 16-7 lead with 2:05 to play in the game. Gary Westerfield led a 7 play, 75 yard drive that ended on a 21 yard TD pass to Benny Davis. Memphis recovered the onside kick and drove enough for Antonio Washington to kick a 43 yard game winning FG to give the Showboats' playoff bid a boost.

Tampa Bay beat Florida 37-6 behind a rushing attack that combined had an Al Bundy day, finishing with 167 yards and 4 TDs. Carl Gillard led the way with 107 yards and a score while Jason Glowacki ran for 2 TDs. The Bandits sacked Nicholas Meis 9 times and held the Blazers to 111 yards.

It looks like this **** glitch starts around the 3rd or 4th game writeup. I need to take a shower before work anyway so I'll stop here and finish shortly.

These last 4 games have no playoff impact.

New Jersey beat Boston 27-0. Jesse Pinkman ran for 209 yards while Saul Jackson had 2 TD runs but Pinkman did catch a short TD pass from Sam Axe. New Jersey held Boston to 145 total yards and had 4 sacks.

Baltimore beat Charlotte 13-7 in a defensive struggle. Keith Carter got Charlotte on the board first with a TD pass but he finished the day 18/39, 145 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs and 7 sacks. Sean Cleveland had a TD run in the 3rd to tie it and Roger Love kicked a pair of 4th qtr FGs to give Baltimore the win.

Southern California beat Georgia 27-9. The Sun had 342 yards of offense but their defense was the story today as they sacked Adam Patrick 13 times, including three safeties. Southern California ran for 137 yards and a TD while John Berrios threw 2 TDs as the offense overcame 3 turnovers and 5 sacks allowed to win.

Oakland beat Chicago 4-3 in a FG kicking contest while Daniel Fleming scored the game's only TD on an 89 yard run near the end of the 1st as the Invaders win 19-9. Fleming finished with 149 yards on the ground for star of the game honors. His TD gave Oakland a 13-0 lead they extended to 16-0 and eventually 19-3 by halftime. In the second half, Oakland lost 2 fumbles and missed a FG but Chicago couldn't get closer than 10 the rest of the way.

Week 16, and our 2011 regular season is complete and the 14 playoff teams are now set. Hopefully I won't have these pages slowing down my posting but we'll see.

There were several playoff spots up for grabs so we'll start with those games. San Jose, Portland, and Memphis all had win and in scenarios, and if one of them were to lose, Honolulu could get in with a win and tiebreakers. In the American Conference, Shreveport would be in with a win, but if they lost, that would open the door for Tampa Bay.

Our defending champion San Jose SaberCats got off to a disastrous 0-4 start, but instead of "woe is me", Smirt dug in and won 11 of his final 12 games, including today's 35-27 win over Oklahoma that wins them the Pacific Division. San Jose got out to a 24-7 lead early in the 3rd qtr before Oklahoma made a game of it, getting within 24-20. The teams traded TDs in the 4th with San Jose getting a 2 point conversion and they led 32-27 after Oklahoma scored with 4:20 left. San Jose would add a FG while Oklahoma had two chances to score but could not. Myron Dustin completed 41/65, 416 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, and 6 sacks taken. Lynn McLaurin caught 16 for 131 yards and a TD, Perry Nelson had 10 for 125 and Scott Isaacs had 5 for 117 yards and a TD. Oklahoma's Stephen Morrow completed 35/53, 393 yards, 4 TDs, 3 INTs and 4 sacks taken. Morrow's TDs went to 4 different receivers with Domenic Winstead leading the way with 8 catches, 169 yards and a TD.

Portland is next on the list and they would make the playoffs if they could beat Atlantic Division champions Washington. The Federals got the ball first and marched 75 yards for a 10 yard James Ford TD run and a 7-0 lead. Portland would kick FGs on their first 2 drives to pull within 7-6 and Washington added a FG for a halftime lead of 10-6. Portland scored first in the second half with another FG while Washington added a TD from backup QB Noble Shepard to take a 17-9 lead. Portland added yet another FG while Shepard threw his 2nd TD pass for a 24-12 lead early in the 4th. It should be noted, starting QB Michael Erickson sat today in preparation for the playoffs, no injury involved. There was 13;36 to play at this time and Portland would have the ball for 10 minutes of that as they added a 5th FG, a Curtis Torres TD pass and a FG as time expired to steal the game 25-24 and punch their playoff ticket. David Babin ran for 115 yards for Portland, Lonnie Johnson caught 11 for 112 yards while Curtis Torres completed 31/49, 279 yards and a TD. Noble Shepard filled in well, completing 16/23, 281 yards and 2 TDs. William McDuffie caught 3 for 130 yards and a TD.

Next up is Memphis, who only needed to beat #1 seed San Antonio to punch their playoff ticket. San Antonio didn't rest any starters from what I can tell and they got out to an early 21-0 lead before coasting to a 31-9 win. George Warner threw 2 long TD passes to start the game, 70 yards to Daniel Cruz (7-115-1) and 82 yards to Glenn Graham (4-131-1) for a 14-0 lead. Eric Rodriguez scored on a short TD run and the lead was 21-0 after 3 possessions. The Gunslingers punted on their 4th possession before Warner found Rodriguez for a passing TD to push the lead to 28-0. The rest of the game was FGs and Memphis was left to watch the scoreboard, hoping for a Honolulu loss.

Honolulu beat Memphis head to head so they own the tiebreaker, and with the Showboats losing to the Gunslingers, the playoff door was opened for the Hawaiians. Would they get through? The first half it wasn't so sure as Honolulu and Southern California played to a 6-6 tie. James Shick's 5 yard TD run in the 3rd gave Honolulu a 13-6 lead they wouldn't relinquish and Victor Russell padded the lead with a TD pass to Michael Sinclair in the 4th. Russell finished with 311 yards passing and a TD, with 1 INT and 1 sack taken. This is the 3rd consecutive season Honolulu has made the playoffs, and the only other time they accomplished that was 1980-1982.

Shreveport was like Memphis, they "just" had to beat the #1 seed to make the playoffs, and like San Antonio, New Orleans didn't appear to rest starters. It was a rough day for the Steamer as they had only 4 first downs all game with 56 total yards. On the bright side they didn't turn the ball over but they did allow 7 sacks. Defensively they had no answer for the VooDoo offense. James Wright was 27/44, 445 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT and 4 sacks taken. Nicholas Reyes caught 15 for 243 yards and a TD while Charles Grogan caught 4 for 115 yards and 2 scores. Gerald Waldon chipped in 101 rushing yards as the VooDoo head for their week off before the divisional round. Shreveport was down, but not out if Tampa Bay were to lose.

Tampa Bay saw their playoff door open with the Shreveport loss and Carl Gillard took the 2nd play from scrimmage 85 yards for a TD to give the Bandits an early 7-0 lead on Orlando. The Renegades were already playoff bound but you know they'd love to send their division rival home for the winter. The Renegades defense allowed just 111 yards the rest of the game with 2 INTs and 2 sacks while presumed rookie of the year Giuseppe Jones ran for 81 yards and 2 TDs. Glenn Jackson added 4 FGs and the Renegades win 26-7, eliminating Tampa Bay and sending Shreveport to the post season.

I'm going to stop here for now, give these games their own spotlight. The glitches started happening again so I closed all my tabs except for 3 MFN tabs and the problem seems to have stopped. I had no issues since. I'm going to start some laundry and work on the remaining games.

Except the glitch wouldn't let me submit what I typed so I had to copy and paste into another tab.

Now let's check in on the playoff teams who weren't under stress in Week 16.

Pittsburgh beat Baltimore 37-6 thanks to a running game that produced 252 yards and 2 TDs. Kenneth Allen ran for 141 yards while ceding the TDs to Christopher Goins and Andrew Paul. Thomas Hampton completed 16/22, 186 yards and a TD to Marc Morgan who caught 3 for 103. The defense was tight despite just 2 sacks and 1 INT, but that INT was returned for a TD by Louis Moran.

New York beat Charlotte 17-13. The Hornets looked like the better team for the most part but 2 key INTs by Keith Carter deep in his own territory set up short fields for New York, who capitalized with TDs. New York turned the ball over 3 times themselves but it only cost them 3 points. Charlotte was driving deep into New York territory at the end of the game, but trailing by 4, they needed a TD. They got down to the Stars 10 yard line before the clock hit 0:00.
