GG Shreveport though I'm surprised by your pass happy attack for a couple of reasons. In our regular season game you ran 38 times and threw 27, winning 35-23. This time you only ran 20 times vs 49 passes. Some of the passing was you being in comeback mode but we were tied or within 1 score for almost 57 minutes of game time.
First reason was the success you had running. You were gashing me with the run on the opening drive, then your offensive coordinator, whom I can only assume is Jay Gruden during his Bengal days, got all pass happy.
That's my 2nd reason as the pass happy approach played right into the hands of my defense. I only had 4 sacks but 27 hurries. Twenty seven! Passes that weren't chucked out of bounds were off target because of all that pressure.
I'm one to talk though, I'm not happy about all those passes up 14 points late. Run the **** ball and run the clock down, geez. I also lost standout LDE Freddie Gilbert to a neck injury as he was placed on I.R. immediately after the game.
