Your opinionated opinions say you don't like the rule, unless you're trolling.

If you're not trolling then we've all heard your opinions and don't need new variations of them.

If you are trolling, stop.

If you're unhappy with how I run this league, you know where the door is.

No trolls cept razor. Otherwise just a bunch of wrong idiots.

I'm truly terrified!!! (Sarcasm)

You remind me of a customized 4 cylinder import from the early 2000's. A lot of noise without any real power behind it.

BTW, I just saw this thread. I got a PM earlier and was in the XFL world.

I didn't know this thread was a thing until 32 replies later.

Got a reminder while looking at my DC: Icenhour went down. I believe there was a point made about injuries and making it work with the RB rotation.

My 91/92 rated WR has 4 catches....I might as well make him WR to deal with the 100% injury rate garbage in terms of how the engine loves to cluster 'em and cluster f*** ya with injuries. lol

a) what weight do I need to get my WR to in order to run the ball with him

and

b) without over-rides (aka I won't over-ride) where can I put a WR @ the RB position for depth? RB #5......?

I'll answer B first...you can't. You'll need to switch that player to RB, then put him wherever you want.

For part A, just switch the player to RB and the weight will take care of itself in a few weeks, but you can use him there now, so long as he's listed as a RB.

Lost in all the garbage posts, is the real reason for no WR at RB is because that's what was voted on. Any other reason does not matter, whether it's a speed/weight thing or simply because people don't want WR running the ball.

Once 4.6 came and the speed/weight thing supposedly fixed, I lifted the weight requirement for RB. All that is required now is that a ball carrier NOT be listed as a WR.

I'm trying to keep things simple, without policing a bunch of rules, yet keep things fair and give the league what they want. We voted before to not have WR run the ball and our current re-vote shows people still don't want WR to run the ball.

I'll self impose and view it as a battle with the engine.

I switched my elite WR to RB and I'll hold off for now but if the engine takes out my current RB #1 next game and leaves me in a rough spot - I'll protect myself and not let the engine win. :)

I'll hold him out for like 210 or somewhat nice for now.

I closed the poll because it's clear the rule will stand. It's 9-4 in favor of keeping the rule, and since it takes nearly a 2-1 margin to change the rule, I doubt we'll have 14 votes in a row for rescinding it.

If I were in a similar situation, I'd probably make the switch now, but make the new RB like #3 on the depth chart while still letting him line up at WR. I did that with Lebowski last season when I had WR injuries. I drafted him to be my lead back when Koresh and Cobain retire, and that was the best way to get my then rookie on the field more.

I'll slot him in for additional support like you said but I won't do over-rides yet.

He'll siphon in for a few carries but without any pinpointed attempt to over-power with him.
