So everyone is fine just so long as a WR doesn't carry the ball right?

Like I said earlier; a WR shouldn't be lined up in the backfield for any reason whatsoever.

If we want to revisit this in the off-season, that's fine. For now WR's & CB's have no business lining up as a RB or FB.

TEs and FBs are at a major disadvantage at RB period. This is because the amount of acceleration you need to out run LBs is impossible. They will get to the LOS but not beyond. There are acceleration charts in the Big Data forums if anyone is interested.

Tell that to Deebo "I beat the Packers" Sanders.

To be fair, I like putting heavier players with good receiving skills in the slot and watching them drag players.

His name is Deebo Samuel and I'm pointing out the rules in this league. I don't give a s**t about what's going on in the real life playoffs, concerning this league, this season. Rules are already established.

Stupid autocorrect. I didn't bother to see what it swyped.

Deebo is also 215 lbs so he could switch to RB in MFN with no speed lose

This post has strayed from it's intended purpose. Originally this was about whether or not you guys are ok with a TE lining up at RB. I had not thought of anyone wanting to do that before because they usually just switch them to RB so the weight loss/speed increase takes effect.

I already know how you guys feel about WR at RB as I just did a poll about that around Christmas https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/2310?page=1#14264 specifically for this season. That door has already been closed so I have no idea why CrazyRazor is putting stuff in bold. This is a separate question.

If we're splitting hairs here, the rule states a player must be a QB, RB or FB to carry the ball, yet it's common knowledge TE can interchange with FB. In essence, because I didn't cover all the bases when writing a custom rule, TE can play FB but can't carry the ball this season.

So the question is, do I close the loophole and let TE carry the ball next season, or do we keep it as is.

This was relating to the original point of whether TE can carry the ball or not and has nothing to do with WR carrying the ball. It's already been established that isn't allowed. Please stop stirring up stuff that doesn't need stirred up.

You have no idea why I'm putting things in bold?? REALLY??

Didn't Smirt211 ask if he could have a WR catching passes out of the backfield?? That's how I took it. Maybe I misunderstood. I don't think I did, though.
