Should TE be allowed to run the ball?

We already discussed/shot down the idea of WR carrying the ball and that's fine. What do you guys think about TE running? Like I said to Smirt in my reply, I don't know why you wouldn't just make him a RB for the speed gain/weight loss.

What say you?

I'm against any custom rules when it comes to version 4.6 because Captain Defender told me all the exploits are fixed in the new version.

4.6 is basically perfect with just a minor problem in passing...once that's addressed....it's ready for immediate release to millions because then it would be 100% perfect.

Sarcasm noted, but I really don't want a bunch of custom rules. I don't enjoy being the rule police and I don't enjoy handing out warnings/penalties. Deebo Samuel is making it hard to justify limiting running the ball to RB/FB/TE, but we had a vote and I'll honor the results.

Cordarrelle Patterson too and even Ja'marr Chase lately. If more teams copy this during the 2022 season, we might have to revisit the no WR at RB rule.

I'm not making custom rules in my leagues but I will follow whatever rules you make here.

I was a big advocate for rules in 4.5 but I'm completely against them in 4.6 for the simple reason that 4.6 already limits everyone offensively especially in the passing game.

Plus the 4.6 enthusiasts keep saying how much this version fixed and I want to shove every possible exploit down their throat and let them choke on it.

As far as TE running the ball, I've found it more difficult to make those elite TEs and turn them into RBs because TEs can be the new goto target in the passing game. If somebody wants to use a TE as RB then I say go for it.

But like Smirt says...simply solution is to convert the TE to FB and he can play anywhere and run the ball all day.

ha ha CJ's got that fire like me.

When I lost like 5 title games in a row or JDB moon landed in the Elite League Dispersal Draft to data collect or when Ray utilized a real life New York Giants injury scenario to throw in my face - I find that motivational nugget and go after it. I usually make JDB a target since I don't have to face him in the game and it's an easy target to whip myself up over. :)

Thanks Smirt, but my fire is nowhere near your desire to win. It doesn't matter who exploits 4.6 to me as long as it gets exploited!

I'm patient enough to rebuild a team longterm and have losing seasons in that attempt. You clearly have to win now because you have put a large target on yourself and can't afford to be patient.

My desire for 4.6 to get exploited isn't for personal gain...if you do it for me that's fine enough for me as long as Captain Defender and Ray Meddleson get to see their precise 4.6 fixed nothing while breaking the passing game.

Honestly Smirt, I wouldn't want to trade places with you for anything. A 10-6 season or worse would be a disaster for you and I wouldn't enjoy that kind of pressure.

Yeah, you got it. Exactly.

It's why I had to make the trade for that WR. I was done without it because I get everyone's best shot.

Ray Meddleson...lol

"I woulda gotten away with it if it wasn't for that meddling JDB...." :)
