GG Smirt!

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I'm surprised that I pulled that off. I've been on auto-pilot for the last two months.

Good luck to whoever takes over the Voodoo. Smirt left them without a 1st, 2nd or 3rd the next 3 seasons and no 4th this season.

He really mortgaged the future of the francise in search of a USFL World Bowl Title and just came up short. Unless the right owner takes them over, they will be irrelevant the next 5-8 seasons without any draft capital and almost nothing with any real trade value.

Good games to anyone that I didn't say good game to through the first seven games.

Check your LB's that are playing DE. Some of them are breaking the standards set for weight/speed.

Just because I'm tired of all the hypocrisy of the rules. CR has this guy in an active depth chart spot at both DE spots: https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/player/7309

I doubt he'll be a DE ever since he's the starting MLB, but he's there. I noticed him when looking through fastest LBs while looking for trade deadline deals.

Thanks for the heads up, just sent him a PM about it.

Tired of the hypocrisy......

At least I'm not making excuses for why he's there in the first place.

He's been removed from the DL depth chart. Also removed a SS from the LB depth chart. With no excuses. I really can't stress that enough. No excuse.

Yes, I'm generally tired of the hypocrisy of people looking through rosters to complain about losing to opponents that follow the league rules and then blatantly breaking league rules.

For instance, last season, Crosby started all 16 games at DE last season even though he was listed as an MLB from week 1. This means that he would have been below the weight threshold for league rules and above the speed threshold.

And, yet, you took to the board to criticize the fact that I had an 80 SP LB buried at the bottom of my bench who was not in violation of league rules.

You have to be a complete moron when it comes to common sense things, dude. Crosby has been my starting MLB for the last 2 seasons. He has never started on the DL. He was a back up DE. I'll admit that. Idk where you dream up some of this stuff.

I assume the next step will be you posting play footage of him at DL. Go right ahead.

My bad. Maybe he did start on the DL last season. His stat line shows it as a strong possibility.

Still, I'm not excusing myself or justifying it. I'm correcting it. With no excuses. Because I'm not a whiny little cheater that tries to find loopholes to give myself advantages. I made a mistake. I messed up. Now it's fixed.

P.S. i notice Crosby didn't have sack totals that came anywhere near your precious little LB/DE.

I don't get this. Are you admitting to just knowingly breaking the league rules and then trying to pin it on others? I mean wasn't the DE rule changed, again, because I and other owners were following the exact letter of the rule.

For the record, I don't care about his stats. I care about fairness, which is why I have followed every rule greg has put in even while breaking down why some of them are flawed.

I'm just tired of my roster always the one being scrutinized, and I'm particularly tired of owners complain about others not following league rules (when they are) while they are breaking them. So I'm going to continue following the league rules, and pointing out when I notice them being broken.

I mean I found this one by accident, and I figured it was just an accident of not moving someone off the depth chart. But by your own words, it sounds like it was purposeful all along. Shame.

I'll put it in layman's terms for you -

A) I am admitting to breaking the rule. (I thought I had moved him off the line.)
B) I have corrected the issue.
C) I am pointing out that my intention was never to exploit the sim. Had I been intentionally exploiting the rules, my LB/DE would have had "McKeon-like numbers".

Do you "get it" now? You, Infinity on Trial, Smirt211, and a few others willfully push the limits of the sim to gain advantages over the other GM's. That isn't/wasn't my intention. The evidence is in my player's performance at the position in question.
