GG Pittsburgh. So much for you knowing what was going to happen. You were the one team I didn't want to have to play. Good luck against New Orleans and possibly the team in the league title game.

Honestly, just shaking my head at this result. No one would look at this roster and think "playoff team." There are 28 guys who were released by other teams and 18 with an overall rating of 70 or less (my weights).

Congrats on another great season for the Feds, CrazyRazor. You will still carry your official 16-game regular-season win streak against Pittsburgh into 1992.

Win streaks mean nothing to me, if they don't include league championships.

A good roster versus bad roster means absolutely nothing. Its not like this is a roster management sim.

I never understood if someone was siphoned off elite strategies from easily one of the top 3 players to ever play the game how that garners GM of the Year?

I'm not entertaining this discussion. tribewriter has won more than he's lost against me. Infinity on Trial's insights had nothing to do with any of the losses prior to last season's league title game.

Because he got the most votes by the owners who respect him for everything he has done creating rhis league plus he won the League Championship.

If learning something from another owner via discussion or analysis disqualified owners from winning the award then I'm out.

Yes, but it went beyond that.

If I recall correctly, it was openly put out there as 'I'm learning everything about roster structure and his strategies. It's blowing my mind.'

He probably should have kept it to himself. Then I wouldn't know and it wouldn't shade my thoughts competitively on him.

Yeah, he should be tarred and feathered, hung then booted out of the league because he learned something and got better.

This.

And Tribe is one of the best at game planning, including situational game planning, in the game. If not the best. Period.

I am happy to exchange insight with anybody who is interested, in an open forum or private message. Tribe asked me some questions about why I had certain players on the Memphis roster, and I explained how I used some in limited situations.

I wish I could take credit for influencing him in some way, but I suspect my input was trivial at best. He's one of the all-time greats and didn't need my help.

And for that matter, that's what the best of us do: We learn from each other.
