Minus 6 spots, tanked in the week 16 game. I did not even face a cheeseball Man Cover 1 times 100 defensive plays type defense. No 1 play zone streaming which negative tanks dice rolls.

Tomorrow is April 1st and we're "expecting" an update from JDB. Honestly I'm a little nervous because I've been keeping an eye on all the leagues and it's pretty ugly. There are 33 leagues showing, of which 28 have at least 10 openings. USFL and XFL lead the way with just a single opening, then NFL League, Moguls, and a roster only league are the others with at least 23 humans. That is it. 10 of the 33 leagues have at least 20 openings including a league that's completely empty.

Eventually the 33 gets whittled down but at what point does JDB shut it down? Hopefully we'll get at least a 30 day notice of the plug being pulled but I really think it will be pulled soon. I hope I'm wrong but I see the writing on the wall and it looks like permanent marker to me.

The New Orleans VooDoo are World Bowl XXXVI champions, making this back to back championships and the 5th perfect 19-0 season in league history.

The last back to back champs were the 1997-98 New Jersey Generals.

Back to Back Championships

1976-77 Detroit Wheels
1979-80 Memphis Showboats
1984-85 Houston Gamblers
1986-87 Memphis Showboats
1994-96 Houston Gamblers
1997-98 New Jersey Generals
2008-09 New Orleans VooDoo

It's hard to tell by the above list but we've only had a Three-peat champion once, the 1994-1996 Houston Gamblers. New Orleans will aim to be the second three-peat champion in 2010.

19-0 Perfect Seasons

1977 Detroit Wheels
1986 Memphis Showboats
2001 Oklahoma Outlaws
2007 Pittsburgh Maulers
2009 New Orleans VooDoo

This is an interesting list. We had one perfect season in the 70's and one in the 80's before going 15 seasons without one. Then, after Oklahoma broke the string in 2001 we have two more perfect seasons. In other words we had 2 perfect seasons during the first 27 seasons of the league and we've had 3 perfect seasons the last 9 years.

The American Conference is 26-10 in World Bowls but the National Conference has won the last 3 in a row. Florida won World Bowl I for the National Conference before the American won the next 6. New Jersey broke the string by winning 2 of the next 3.

Through 10 World Bowls it was 7-3 American. Following New Jersey's 2nd title, the American Conference would win the next 13 in a row, making it 20-3. Those 13 were won by Houston (6 times), Memphis (3), Portland (3), and Denver.

The last 13 World Bowls have been relatively even, with the National Conference winning 7. New Jersey got it started with their back to back before Houston, San Jose, and Oklahoma won. Now we are up to the most recent World Bowls with the National Conference on a 3 game winning streak.

Still a long way to go to catch up but 10-26 is better than 3-20.

I remember playing Eyeball when he had Detriot. Wonder what happened to him.

I don't remember exactly why eyeballl left but I do remember it was spelled with 3 l's because he had eye surgery or something. I do remember he left the game freely.

Won my 1st World Bowl against him on a walk off safety in OT.

Eyeballl died 2 or 3 years ago due to health reasons. (Can't remember what exactly)
He was one of the best in the game.

edit to add... he died from a brain tumor.
