Good game CJ, Generals may have lost the game but I think we found our QB. Nice debut Sam Axe.
GG Greg, I'm glad you found your QB of the future but I caution patience since the Gambler's defense is:
32nd in completion pct, completions, yards while being 31st in yds/att and 26th in passing TDs.
Last season we were 29th, 32nd, 31st, 28th & 24th respectively so while we sucked last season, we are actually worse so far this season.
In other words our pass defense sucks!!!! LOL
No offense but I know your defense isn't great so I looked up last year's game by game stats for my QB Via. He never topped 300 yards, let alone 400. I don't care who it's against, having a rookie QB complete 36/39 429 yards and 2 TDs with 0 INTs means he's not sitting even if he comes back with a crappy game.
Via kept making me mad last season so I kept switching plays to suit what he did well and he kept sucking. That's why I drafted Sam Axe in the first place. I wasn't planning on benching Via yet but after his game against Boston I had seen enough.
Obviously Axe won't complete 36/39 every week or throw for 400 yards every week, but he did it once which is one more time than the guy he replaced did in a season plus 2 games.
Kevin Via proved he can't take us very far and maybe Sam Axe won't get us very far either but I have to give him that chance now.
Good luck in your division, quite the dogfight.

Well, the interceptions were fun but even through wicked hard + elite D/GM I survived, unlike the cheese ball first game I opened up v. Ai where I had an injured and mauled C situation cost me a bye...
