There's nothing I could have done - it spares me from title game work, though.
I had the major play on play advantage coming out of the gate and got what I wanted for the 2-Point conversion with a 95 speed guy foot race to the goal line....it failed and the MO switched there.
Interception later was on a 99% familiarity trained in 3-4 double WR #3 v. my 100% flair where I should hit it over the top....
Got a fumble on a major play on play advantage, too. Dime v. 311 run.
F it. I take my L.
But it was a beautiful game plan.
He didn't lead into the 311m trap up close, but I had the 212m explode on him.
I shouldn't have got done like that. At worst - a very very very close loss.
GG Smirt, I was expecting to log in and see a 7-10 point loss. I'm as shocked as you are with the result. I'll do what I can against the Maulers but they have been rolling everyone this year. Might be time to mix things up.
I was expecting an either way dog fight but if I made the right calls and caught ya with surprise gifts I could pull it out or die right at the end game. Disappointed it wasn't more in doubt.
GG Hammond and congrats on a perfect season and the championship!

Congratulations to Hammond on completing the 4th 19-0 season in league history. It's hard enough to win a championship in this league, and even harder still to do it without any losses at all. The 2007 Pittsburgh Maulers join the 1977 Detroit Wheels, 1986 Memphis Showboats and the 2001 Oklahoma Outlaws as perfect champions with 19-0 records.
The 1994 Baltimore Stars were the only other team to complete a 16-0 regular season and not win the championship as they were knocked out in the divisional round by division rival Washington.
Congrats to brxnivy as well as he completely turned around San Antonio in just one season. He also did it in the toughest division in the league as the Southwest sent 3 teams to the post season. Excellent job.
