for what this whole mess of an old thread is, I take each update to be similar to how various rules/strategies differ over time within the NFL.
MFN seasons are short, especially in coding time. There is a remarkable amount of code put into a complex game such as this, and so called "errors" are to be expected. Updates happen frequently ( a true blessing especially in a free game), and there is an active and helpful player base combined with an active admin.programmer (jdb).
Game plans are easy to adjust, draft/build for the long term, and plenty of variables between plays available/personnel/formations/play call weights, on and on..
Anyway, if you still complainin' and you still here, and you have long term here, you should know all the above.
If you are newish, accept this factor, plan for it.
Simply one of the best strategy games an old nerd like me ever encountered.
In the NFL, the direct impact is seen in game play regarding how refs are instructed to weight and call penalties over a season... :)
