Some don't want to admit but luck is definately a factor in these games....anytime a quarterback throws 4 or 5 picks....that's either good luck or bad luck depending on what side you are on.
My opinion is this game comes down to:
ROSTER MANAGEMENT (35%)This is building a roster using solid player weights to create depth and have playmakers on offense and defense.
GAMEPLAN (55%)This is putting together a solid play matrix along with the right selection of plays plus a good set of rules to take advantage of clock management and defensive looks based on your opponent. This is tge most important factor because I've seen great rosters lose consistently to lesser rosters based on gameplan.
LUCK (10%)This is simply getting the benefit of random number generation. You can have a great roster and solid gameplan but if their is a small chance something negative can happen...and it continually does happen....luck has shown its hand! This is the reason elite owners don't win every game...sometimes bad luck seems to snowball and many random rolls go against one owner or the other which leads to excessive turnovers, incompletions, penalties and injuries.
