Good game!

My QB Bryan Franklin has continued to surprise. He was drafted in 1991 and had no starts and just 9 pass attempts until being named the starter this season (1999).

He ended up leading the league in passing yards and TD passes despite throwing 23 interceptions.

This was obviously his 1st postseason start and boy did he deliver becoming just the 5th QB to throw for at least 400 yards, have at least 5 TD passes while not being sacked.

Only 12 QBs have at least 400 yards and 5 TD passed in a playoff game.

Only 14 QBs have at least 5 TD passes in a game.

The amazing part is Tony Dean never had 5 TD passes in a playoff game!

Franklin's path to stardom reminds me of my QB Don Ferguson. Washington drafted Ferguson in 1989 but never saw the field in the regular season, sitting behind Scott Bieber. When his rookie contract was up, Washington opted not to resign him, so the Generals stepped up and took a chance. Ferguson beat out Paul Marcum for the QB job and the rest is history.

If the Gamblers and Generals meet in the World Bowl, football fans will have to hear about Franklin and Ferguson for 2 straight weeks.

GG Smirt. Like getting blood from stone.

Jason Chacko was picked up mid-season because of a lack of CB depth and he has not disappointed

Good game.

Eh, what can you do. I had Normal defense pulled up vs. potent 3 wide pass plays. The engine is tricky. Once you got past my initial attempt - you won the game. Jail bars come down, game over.
