Season set-up = done and the training camp didn't mess me up too badly. Sims held up and I didn't get too much veteran decline. Had a rookie gunner hit and moved him to a prime spot for success. Have a kick returner of the future if he makes the team. Probably won't!

Age 31 for offensive linemen definitely is the new age 30 WR Acapulco Speed Cliff (nose) Dive. I now going in view 'em as potentially useless before training camp.

Patillo held enough, however, Agnew....SPLAT.

Age: 31
Experience: 10
From Start: +10/-5
This Season: -4/-5
College: Ohio State
Draft: 1982 San Antonio Gunslingers (5.7)
Retire Prob: 20%

Panthers camp wasn't pretty. We got a 2nd string RB, and maybe a LB.

Shreveport camp was grim. You know the potential downside of high volatility players but you think that just maybe this time they wont bust, or if they do it could just a small bust. Nah.
First round CB went -22, Third round OL went -16.
May have a starting P plus some useful backups but its gonna be a long season...again....

Looking around the league, most of CB's in the first 3 rounds went backwards in training camp. No consolation though.

Pittsburgh had no first-round pick ... a great way to start your rebuilding.

Second- and third-round picks will likely become full-time starters at TE and LT. Fourth-round picks included two CBs with speed and not much else, but at least their ratings bumped up. They are probably better than the lousy free agent DBs I had to sign (because I inherited a team with one CB on the roster).

Jeffrey Dahmer busted but as a 1st round pick he will make the team. UDFA Ren Hoek had a bad camp, sort of expected, but he could possibly stick around with a good preseason. Kurt Cobain smells like a good compliment to Dr. Sam Beckett and Redd Foxx won't be joining Elizabeth anytime soon. Al Borland boomed and now we don't have to worry about kicker. 14th year vet Lucio Grant (30% retirement) is expected to be released at some point this preseason.

Well, that was a starting point. Looks like everyone played close except 1 situation, of course. Saw 1 risk defensive play sprinkled in so maybe I'll back off but eh. Damage done, though, because it's seasons of play knowledge into the garbage.

Good game, Mjlee555.

Anyone interested in a highly rated, under performing QB? Driggers has finally wore out his welcome in Tampa. Looking for picks to include a 1 and 2 to start, depending on your projected finish. Cheers.

The Gold had an interesting draft. Both LB's that were drafted in the 1st & 2nd did not bust. Which is great because half the LBs on the current roster are getting quite mature. The two rookies boomed up to the upper 70's, but that is pretty good by current standards. Long gone are the days when a team could rock three 90 rated LBs in the starting lineup.

With the 2 picks in the 3rd round, selected 2 OL that both boomed. Pretty happy that the RG & RT spots will be set for the next 12+ seasons.

Then things really dropped off. None of the 4-7 round picks amounted to anything worthwhile and will not make the final roster. Very pleased that the 50% draft success was with the first 4 picks and not the bottom 4 selections.

Houston had a blah draft with some depth added on the offensive and defnesive lines and a safety.

None will start...but depth is important

If that was the regular season I'd be going bonkers. However, the game served its purpose for running plays.

Good game, Big Ups!
