Congrads Greg...that's a nice playoff run that was snapped this season. I'm sure you will be back next season.

Two streaks I still have going is 12 straight seasons with a winning record (7-9 in 1976) and we've never lost double digit games, ever. Still wish we were still playing though.

Good luck to the 12 teams that are still playing, the playoffs should be a fun ride.

Well, that was tragic. I got some serious work to do next season.

Good luck going forward, 4343. Maybe you can bring a title to the division.

I seem to recall you rung my bell the last time we played.

American Conference Divisional Round

Memphis Showboats (11-5-1) @ Michigan Panthers (14-1-1)

MFN Point Spread Michigan -4

Memphis: Offense 13th Defense 8th
Michigan: Offense 2nd Defense 3rd (Tie)

Playoff Record: Memphis 18-4 (4-0 World Bowl) Michigan 3-4
Last Playoff Appearance: Memphis 1987 Michigan 1987

Head to Head: Memphis 1-0 vs Michigan in playoffs/ Played to a 6-6 OT tie in 1988

Injuries: Memphis 4 probable, 3 questionable, 2 doubtful Michigan 2 probable, 1 Out

Prediction: Michigan 20 Memphis 19

Memphis is still the Champions until someone beats them. Michigan stopped the Showboat's long winning streak last year and the Panthers have the league's best record. I think the injuries finally catch up to Memphis and Michigan slips past them in a nailbiter of a finish.

Denver Gold (14-3) @ Houston Gamblers (14-2)

MFN Point Spread Houston -4

Denver: Offense 1st Defense 10th
Houston: Offense 5th Defense 20th

Playoff Record: Denver 5-6 (0-1 World Bowl) Houston 13-3 (3-0 World Bowl)
Last Playoff Appearance: Denver 1985 Houston 1987

Head to head: Denver 1-0 vs Houston in playoffs/ Houston won 23-10 in 1988

Injuries: Denver 4 probable, 1 questionable Houston 2 probable, 1 questionable

Prediction: Houston 27 Denver 24

Denver destroyed Cleveland in the Wildcard round, but Houston is a different story. The Gamblers seem to turn it up a notch in the playoffs, although Denver is responsible for 1 of the 3 Houston playoff defeats. The Gold won't be intimidated, but I think the playoff savvy Gamblers pull out a close game.

National Conference Divisional Round

Orlando Renegades (12-5) @ New Orleans VooDoo (14-2)

MFN Point Spread New Orleans -7

Orlando: Offense 3rd Defense 22nd
New Orleans: Offense 4th Defense 3rd (Tie)

Playoff Record: Orlando 3-2 New Orleans 7-9 (0-2 World Bowl)
Last Playoff Appearance: Orlando 1978 New Orleans 1987

Head to Head: No playoff games/no 1988 regular season game

Injuries: Orlando 4 probable, 1 questionable, 1 doubtful New Orleans 3 probable

Prediction: New Orleans 26 Orlando 13

New Orleans has lost 4 playoff games in a row, all to New Jersey, but the Generals are on the couch this year. The VooDoo are also at home after a BYE instead of going on the road Wildcard Weekend. The 14-2 record is also the best record in VooDoo history and I expect New Orleans to handle business at home. Not to take away from the excellent turnaround season of Orlando but the VooDoo look primed for a deep playoff run.

Baltimore Stars (13-4) @ New York Stars (12-4)

MFN Point Spread Baltimore -3

Baltimore: Offense 6th Defense 1st
New York: Offense 7th Defense 5th

Playoff Record: Baltimore 7-5 New York 3-4
Last Playoff Appearance: Baltimore 1986 New York 1981

Head to Head: No playoff games/Baltimore won 22-17 in 1988

Injuries: Baltimore 4 probable, 3 questionable, 1 doubtful New York 5 probable, 1 doubtful

Prediction: Baltimore 20 New York 17

The Stars will win the game. I think Baltimore's #1 defense will be the difference, though New York has a top 5 defense of their own. Baltimore is 3-5 in the playoffs against non Washington teams and New York is certainly capable of pulling off the upset at home. I have to pick somebody, and I think the momentum of Baltimore will win out in the end.

Conference Championship Weekend

Houston Gamblers (15-2) @ Michigan Panthers (15-1-1)

Houston: Offense 5th Defense 20th
Michigan: Offense 2nd Defense 3rd (Tie)

Playoff Record: Houston 14-3 Michigan 4-4

Head to Head: 1-1 in playoffs/ No 1988 regular season game

Injuries: Houston 3 probable Michigan 9 probable, 2 questionable, 1 doubtful

Prediction: Houston 23 Michigan 21

The top 2 seeds in the American Conference meet for the right to go to World Bowl XV. Houston has the playoff experience but Michigan is the giant killer, so who will win and why? I can see either team winning this game and I expect the final margin to be within one score. The Gamblers have the experience and health edge, and I believe that health will enable them to pull through in the 4th quarter.

Baltimore Stars (14-4) @ New Orleans VooDoo (15-2)

Baltimore: Offense 6th Defense 1st
New Orleans Offense 4th Defense 3rd (Tie)

Playoff Record: Baltimore 8-5 New Orleans 8-9

Head to Head: No playoff games/New Orleans beat Baltimore 25-17 in 1988

Injuries: Baltimore 3 probable, 3 questionable New Orleans 7 probable, 1 questionable, 1 Out

Prediction: New Orleans 22 Baltimore 21

Both teams overcame double digit deficits to reach this point, but just one can advance to World Bowl XV. New Orleans won the regular season game and I think they pull out a nailbiter here as well. Baltimore is about big plays, and they will hit some, but Jon Snow has also thrown a lot of interceptions. I think the difference in this game is the 2 point conversions the VooDoo like to use in the first half. I'll say the halftime score is 19-7 VooDoo on 2 TDs, 2 two point conversions and a FG. Baltimore will take the lead late 21-19 before the VooDoo drive for the game winning FG in the final 2 minutes.

GG Cj. I changed up some things so I wasn't predictable. Unfortunately something went wrong with only rushing 3 times.

Oof. I need to steal CJ's playbook for offense. And find some WRs.
