This seems a stretch. I know he's a one year rental but he's a quality QB. A 6th rounder seems too low.

I'm guessing he had him on the trade block and wasn't getting any offers.....he sent me the offer and I accepted, perhaps he was going to cut him and he figured a 6th was better than nothing.

I also got an offer for Nowlin for a No. 6. I just had no use for Nowlin on a rebuilding club.

This is a good trade. They is not a market for a 36 year old qb.

Are we really going to start questioning every single trade now?

If you remember a while back, Booger started requesting that every single trade be reviewed by the committee—the equivalent of a nuisance lawsuit. That is when we added this clause into our trade rules:

To send the trade to the committee for review, a coach must reply to the original trade post, stating the reason he is requesting a review. This review should be requested within 24 hours of the trade being posted.

As long as some coach isn't requesting a formal review just to be pugnacious, I'm not against an informal discussion of a trade's merits. Lord knows plenty of that happens among fans in real life (and especially on sports talk radio).

I'm just trying to get a sense of where the valuations on players is now. If starters go for 6th rounders due to age then I have to seriously reevaluate how much I offer for players.

Really I don't see you doing it in any of your other leagues.

My other leagues all go mostly by trade meter.
