I started the season 1-4 and I'm in the SouthWest which makes it doubly hard to come back and make a run. I'm not complaining about the loses, I simply wasn't good enough.

I decide I might as well punt this season but someone has my 1st round pick via a trade so I traded 4 starters to get my pick back and replace then with young free agents which everyone knows aren't great and I win the next game!

My next opponent is San Jose (Smirt) so that should be an easy lose but I wanna make sure so I traded 1 more starter plus I cut 6 more starters starters and back filled with available young free agents.

So, Im down 11 starters total but I want to make doubly sure so I cleared all my overrides then doubled my plays selected on offense and defense.

The result was I went toe.for toe with San Jose and lost by a late FG. That makes zero sense to me. I'm not the type to purposely tank but I thought I did enough to weaken my team without blatantly tanking and I'm a roll or 2 away from winning. Winning doesn't benefit me so I'm guessing I need to do more to weaken my team!

I went hard after the inside blitz but it went away due to your adding causing the 2nd possession int, which tilted the game for awhile. I got stuff to work on - you played great. i tried like heck to extend the 3 game shut out.
