I took a 1 game sabattical v. Slick to wrest control of the division, however, it failed. I maintained over rides to spare work and w-o the fb runs the surprise rushing attack failed. any ways, back to the lab...

Holidays are breaks for the 9-5 M-F crowd but I'm opposite. Holidays are busy for me at my work and all weekend we were down 2 drivers. Just now feeling back to normal and is a big reason why I haven't updated this.
Myron Dustin has 45 TD passes and John Adams has 42, both now well off the record pace, which would be 52 through 13 games.
George Hoffman is also off record pace for yardage but not by much and the rushing TD record has a great chance to fall as Hoffman needs 1 to tie and 2 to break the record with 3 games to play.
Perhaps George Hoffman wore down with all the carries he received. Hoffman finished the season with 1,897 rushing yards and 18 TDs. The yardage is the 3rd most in league history and the 18 TDs ties the record.
One record Hoffman did set this year is most rushing attempts in a season. Hoffman ran 435 times in 2013, breaking the record of 411 rushing attempts set in 2012 by...George Hoffman. The back to back 400+ carry seasons are the only 2 400+ carry seasons in league history.
Good thing Hoffman isn't a real guy. For kicks I went over to Pro Football Ref and of the 5 backs with 400+ carries in a season, just one (James Wilder, creamsicle Bucs!) didn't turn to mush the very next season.
Larry Johnson (416) and Jamal Anderson (410) were done. Wilder (407) had 1300 the next year then was done. Dickerson (404) missed 4 games the next season and was traded (revived in Indy tho). Eddie George (403) was a robot and doesn't count for human stats.
