I'd like to congratulate the Boston Breakers on being in the playoff hunt so late in the season for the first time since 1974. The Breakers won the first ever East Division title with a 12-3-1 record, but soon fell on hard times for almost 3 decades. Pdoug20 has been here since day 1, plugging along, trying to right the ship. He's had a few 7-9 seasons and in the mid 90's, it looked like they were about to turn a corner.
The Breakers just need a win vs 0-15 Pittsburgh plus a Jacksonville win over Georgia to make the playoffs for the first time since 1974. They already clinched their first non losing season since 1974. Good luck pdoug.
Dangalanti has done a fine job with Oakland since taking over, winning 5 in a row. The Invaders should contend for the West next season with a good draft.
Next year should be fun in the Southwest after Mjlee finally had enough of getting kicked around. With greyghost taking over, all 4 owners have a solid MFN resume and will beat the **** out of each other.
The South is turning into a competitive division as well with the owner turnover hopefully subsiding there. Loftusranger has been here since day 1 but the other 3 teams have had recent owner switches. All 4 teams played well this season and I expect that to continue into 2001.
I previously talked about Boston and pdoug20's turnaround, but UKRAIN has also been here since Day 1 and is seeing some on field success finally. Charlotte never had a winning season until 1997 with just one 8-8 season previous. Since 1997, they have maintained contender status and are on the cusp of their first ever division title.

Appreciate the kind words, Commish. It’s been tough sleddin’ over the years, but it’s a good feeling to be in this position after so much futility. Let’s see how it plays out!!
