storm had a very good camp despite their 3rd round first pick busting into oblivion. They still managed to pick up 2 stud lineman and a corner. While everyone was focused on a certain 7th round qb they overlooked a lineman with all the makings of greatness that went 7-17. Pung boomed a whopping +1/+11 with great core stats. If someone could do a progression snapshot of my team I'd be grateful.
The right side of the line gets another overhaul with both rookies slated to start including the 7th round rookie Pung shockingly slated to start ahead of last year's rookie of the year runner up Burgess at RT.

Houston's gamble on high vol defensive back reinforcements paid off big
While my 3rd round CB 62 vol CB busted +7/-6 and will try to make the roster as depth at SS
On offense I was set at the major skill positions and was able to add depth at FB, TE, LT and C who all boomed or at least didnt bust.
FB +12/+1 TE +6/0 LT +15/+1 C +7/+2
This has to be one of my best training camp/draft classes ever with 6 players booming, 1 breaking even and 1 bust with all 8 having a decent chance to make the roster.
While I just took over this team that was already loaded with talent and highly successful, this draft really filled in the few holes the roster had and helped find replacements for some of the aging talent on defense.
The usual first round bust in Shreveport did not disappoint. We always go into each draft thinking this year will be different. Unless it is an OL, the first rounder is usually an anti climax. It looks like anyone at the top of the draft with any sort of volatility fell so I am at least not alone this year.
Anyway we boomed at 2, was spared the misery with no 3 or 4 pick, bust big at 5
1.4 MLB -7, down to 82, starter 2.5 RDE +4 , up to 80, starter 5.5 LDE -21, down to 49, oh dear 6.4 LG -3, down to 68, may have use for him 7.6 WR +5, to 72, could find a spot

Pick 1.32 Rod Martin +18/+2 Pick 2.32 Vann McElroy +6/-11 No pick in Round 3 Pick 4.32 Marcus Allen +5/-7 Pick 5.32 Todd Christensen +15/+1 Pick 6.32 Cliff Branch -1/-14 Pick 7.32 Dokie Williams +17/+11
All the punters and kickers i drafted and signed as UDFA's boomed. I'f anyone is in need of an upgrade or cheap youth check the block, cheap.
Outside of that busts.
TE's 4.6 Robert Harris 56 VOL, +5/-5, still enough to make the team 4.16 Harold Sims 78 VOL, +6/-9 If he makes the team its just to have another body in the unit
SLB Carson Wilson 2.23 72 VOL, +5/-7 Will make the team SS Gregory Rossi 6.20 52 VOL, +6/-4 will make the team CB Alvin Fowler 7.16 54 VOL, +4/+1 experimental pick, DE converted to CB.. we'll see
AND NOW THE DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!
QB Joseph Jones 7.20 52 VOL that moved to 100 VOL, +13/+12 Looks like he will be a great backup and possible starter.. still has that low LOD though.
