I’ve got so much **** going on in my life right now, ‘worrying’ about this is the least of my problems.
This is a game I’ve played to keep my mental health in check and ironically this is happening when I’m at rock bottom.
The worst part about this is the lack of notice .
Agreed. Work 50 a week plus, raise kid and maintain family. This place was a mental break. Now it is more broken than ever before
In the end I don’t think I still understand what is going to happen. I’m going to hold out on paying like most other owners, I will monitor others who converted credits to subscription and see if they continue. If everything starts to fall then so be it. If JDB delivers even a modicum outside of the UI I would be impressed, if he actually becomes a routine admin with regular patches that have meaningful impact on user experience then I will pay.
Anything short of that, then take MFN behind the barn and put this dog out of its misery. My opinion is sell it to someone who cares, or hire a real FT developer to justify subscription. Do you need investment? I’d pay for a stake in interest of the game before I pay a subscription. Seriously, let’s talk business and change the whole tone. Is he willing to bet I could put a small group of stake holders together.
This can solve your financial woes. It will provide user counsel. But also accountability for progress. We can set quarterly check ins to go over figures, plans and needs. I will assist in coordinating true help where you cannot dedicate the time.
Through this all you can maintain your creation, generate real capital, continue subscription model. PM me, we can work this out.
