I run the USFL and play in several other leagues, and while it's not a mass exodus yet, people are leaving MFN directly because 4.6 is horrible. I have never had such trouble keeping my league full.
Before anyone says "you can't win in 4.6, that's why you don't like it", keep this in mind. In the last year of 4.5 I lost in the league championship in USFL, the first year of 4.6 I won in the league championship.
I had a better overall experience in 4.5 as my QB set an all time single season TD pass record (USFL was in it's 23rd year last 4.5) and we had a lot of games like Buffalo/Kansas City. Of course winning a championship is better than losing but the same record setting QB had an awful year in comparison.
Compare 1996 (last year of 4.5) to 1997 (first year of 4.6). My team remain virtually unchanged over those 2 years, with pretty much the same RBs, WRs, and TEs. He was the only QB in the league over 4,000 yards and we only had 1 other QB top 3,500.
How is the game going to grow like this??? If this is a case of self sabotage in an effort to get people to quit, it's going well so far, but why not just pull the plug and tell us all to F off?
This was clearly not very well thought out by the powers that be if this was supposed to make the game better. While it would be great if we get things fixed, I'm not expecting anything to be done at all. I just needed to vent, again.
If the 4.6 defenders want to come state your case, go ahead, I don't really care. You won't change my mind about how much this version sucks. At least it will give me something to laugh about instead of being ticked off.
