Meh. All I've known of Smirt in the few leagues I've had the pleasure of competing with him - is he is unusual. MFN needs unusual. Like many of us, he's just always working for an edge. Like some of us, a little tickle can lead to a bit of agression (and some brilliant personel use, frankly).
Ive never seen this so called cancer be anything less than competative, creative, and bluntly honest when inquired about what their processes and/or motives are.
Games are meant to be broken. That's how the "best" games become such.
Absolutely nothing wrong (edit: with) creativity and the pursuit of improvement.
I find this entire thread to be petty. Harmful. Hateful. Rooted in the self interests and the frantic self preservation motives of the original poster.
Frankly, this whole "I'm better than him... he's a cancer" is just **** MFN doesn't need. Everytime I've pulled my "i'm better than" card it was only a sorry *** excuse for how I felt less than whatever person, place, or thing I decided was my problem.
Smirt, is obviously the OP's problem. Not MFN's problem.
Shame that KingofBling (and others) can only try to create conflict, aggression, division, and toddler reactions to someone who is - and always has - done some very strange things to make MFN better.
Shame on those jumping on the belittlement bandwagon.
You really should improve your play.
If you cannot be an influencer - as Smirt definitely can be - then just shut up. Stop whining. Improve your **** game.Sorry, NOT sorry some of you feel less than Smirt because s/he/they seek different ideas that create change. Quite sad such a player is in y'alls heads so much, but for better or worse Smirt's efforts make a LOT of difference and discover a LOT of items that need to be attended to long haul. Persons like him have made this game great. Truth.
I've had nothing but a gentle response and an open mind from Smirt within both my competitions and inquires.
S/he/they has never hid any motives - unlike some folks in this thread.
So...
Screw the hate.
Get over your ego, folks.
It's not Smirt's problem. It's yours.
AND STOP THREADS THAT MAKE MFN SEEM LIKE AN ARGUMENTATIVE CESSPOOL.It's not helping JDB and MFN, and is far more harmful than the creative roster-ing Smirt and others enjoy so much of as a part of how they play MFN.
Overrides matter.
(edited for grammar and pronouns - because they matter, too!)
