Why not just play beta. The code doing the moderating so there is no questions of cheating
Ive been guilty of using "exploits", many times not intentional. I agree that beta takes a lot of that out of play, which is a good thing, but at the expense of moving farther away from the goal of RL simulation. I would like to see more internal game controls be used, similar to the roster requirements (53 max players/46 active). When the roster limits are exceeded, the Ai steps in and corrects it, usually in a bad way unfortunately. I'd like to see the same for roster position (min # of RBs, SS, FS, etc. ), min position requirement/weight (250 lbs for DL) minimum # of active plays and overuse, once a play has hit a certain #, the Ai coach selects another play, and instead of using "Rules", it becomes more based on your coaches preferences and style. I'd also like to see the play comments either eliminated or improved and varied, I dont like seeing that my receiver made a great move for a 1 yd gain on 3rd & 5 for example, or that my defender got away with a hold. I dont know what the level of difficulty is for making those kinds of changes/improvements to the game, but if it doesnt take a whole lot of programming, would really like to see that. I would like to see the game be more balanced between the owner control and the Ai contral, somewhere halfway between regular and roster-only. Where owners spend more time managing the roster/coaches as opposed to coaching/play-calling/gameplanning. Overall, reduce or eliminate the areas of exploitation, then its a level playing field other than unbalanced or rip-off trades. The only way to improve the trade abuse situation is with more accurate Ai trade meter values.
