Guys are drafted all the time with future 100 ratings but the current is like 20. They are unplayable for a couple years unless you like 0-30 games. I just think the floor for current accuracy qbs should be much higher
I guess it is how you look at it. I used my 16 accuracy qb as an example in beta testing as this change seem strong. I feel th e game has Kurt Warners or arron rodgers now but we already know they will be real good.
To me it changes their drsft value unless you want to sit and groom them. Guys who actualize their ratings quicker are the ones who are nfl ready . Now I have dbs that come out of camp with 99 man or Dline with elite skill. This would raise the value of those guys some.
The thing is you won't know what rate of growth you ll get. Guys maxing out quickly in only a few skill ratings is kinda realistic too. As a safety might take a few years to become an elite tackler or cover guy.
Maybe coaches can have more of an effect now on development of players . Cutting growth in half if they are all higher rated accuracy or something .
I think one day we will have minimums, but now I would run the guys through a digital combine. Same as they move on the feild and set speed minimums for all positions based off the results . To line up with nfl speed. New users would see the slow 40 times and never think of picking that guy
But overall it mixed now. Accuracy is over valued by the code for whatever reason .
I drafted a 7th round qb who maxed out accuracy at camp and his numbers were with nfl averages . No real ceiling for him but he was good enough out the gates as a rookie .
