ATLANTA – The Force opened their 2022 regular season with a 34-6 victory over the Bulls on Sunday at home. Led by head coach Jeremy Ramirez, the Force showcased a balanced offensive attack and resilient defense to secure the win.

The Force struck first in the first quarter when quarterback George Coulter connected with tight end Donald Gutierrez for a seven-yard touchdown pass following a declined pass interference call against the Bulls. Donald Doubledoink successfully converted the extra point, putting the Force up 7-0 early.

In the second quarter, Coulter found wide receiver William Sneed in stride, who raced 26 yards to the end zone for a touchdown. The successful extra point extended the lead to 14-0. The Bulls managed to respond with a 27-yard field goal from kicker Andrew Gustin, narrowing the score to 14-3. However, before halftime, Doubledoink added a 36-yard field goal, sending the Force into the locker room ahead 17-3.

The Force continued their dominance in the third quarter as Coulter threw a short three-yard touchdown pass to running back Frank Whiting. The extra point was good, increasing the lead to 24-3. The Bulls were limited offensively throughout the game and never managed to cross the goal line.

The Force's rushing attack was a key factor in their success, accumulating 253 yards and four rushing touchdowns. William Sneed led the ground game with 116 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Frank Whiting added 34 rushing yards and a score. Donald Gutierrez contributed two rushing touchdowns and 71 receiving yards.

Coulter completed 24 of 35 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for an additional 15 yards. The team's defense pressured Bulls quarterback Earl Jackson, who threw 162 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. The Force's defense also recovered two fumbles and recorded two sacks.

Special teams contributed with successful kicks by Doubledoink, who made both extra points and a field goal, leading the Force to two successful field goal attempts.

The Bulls struggled on offense, posting 162 passing yards and negative 13 rushing yards with no touchdowns. Despite two field goals from Gustin, the Bulls' offense was contained throughout the matchup.

The victory improves the Force’s record to 1-0, sitting third in their division, while the Bulls fall to 0-1. Jeremy Ramirez and his team will look to build on this strong start in the weeks ahead.
