However, the Force quickly responded with a 104-yard kickoff return touchdown by Frank Whiting, and Donald Doubledoink tied the game with a successful extra point.
Shortly after, the Renegades regained the lead when Rice’s pass was intercepted by Richard Nelson at the 29-yard line, stalling the Force’s drive. The Force then took a 10-7 lead early in the quarter after Doubledoink kicked a 46-yard field goal.
In the second quarter, Renegades running back Bill Minks scored on a 3-yard run, extending the lead to 13-10 after the successful extra point. Later, Gregg Zavala added a 40-yard field goal, pushing the Renegades further ahead at 17-10 into halftime.

The third quarter saw minimal scoring, with the Force closing the gap slightly on a 24-yard field goal by Doubledoink, but the Renegades answered with another field goal from Zavala to maintain a 20-13 advantage.
Early in the fourth quarter, John Rice connected again with Charles Button for a touchdown reception, increasing the lead to 26-13. Zavala’s extra point was successful. The Renegades sealed the victory with a 41-yard field goal by Zavala late in the game.

The Renegades exhibited efficient play with six third-down conversions on 16 opportunities and were successful with two red zone touchdowns on six visits. They incurred just one penalty for five yards compared to the Force’s five penalties for 35 yards.
The loss drops the Force to 12-4 but they remain division leaders, having clinched their division. The Renegades continue to set the pace atop the league standings with the win.
Head Coach Jeremy Ramirez’s Force fell behind early and were unable to regain momentum despite a strong defensive showing from Terence Roderick, who recorded one interception. Meanwhile, Renegades Head Coach Rueben Mahaffey saw his team compete solidly on both sides of the ball to maintain their dominance this season.
