ATLANTA — The Force secured a decisive 55-5 victory over the visiting Bandits on Sunday, improving their record to 14-1 and clinching a playoff berth in the process. Under head coach Jeremy Ramirez, the Force displayed overwhelming offensive firepower and stifling defense at home.

The Bandits, coached by John Stroud, entered the game with a 4-11 record and were unable to mount a significant challenge, managing only a single field goal. The Force offense started strong, capitalizing immediately after an early interception by Scottie Thorpe to score the first touchdown. Quarterback George Coulter connected with Quentin Rampage for a 13-yard score just under a minute into the game, with Donald Doubledoink adding the extra point to make it 7-0.

Coulter continued to engineer scoring drives, finding Brett Cartwright for two touchdowns in the first quarter alone and later connecting with Jaylen Cross in the second quarter. Coulter finished with 293 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns, demonstrating remarkable efficiency despite throwing one interception. On the ground, Quentin Rampage contributed 136 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, while Frank Whiting added a rushing touchdown and 154 receiving yards.

The Force offense rushed 41 times for 239 yards and seven rushing touchdowns. Additionally, Donald Doubledoink was perfect on two field goal attempts and made all five extra points.

Defensively, the Force capitalized on multiple Bandits mistakes. The Bandits threw five interceptions, including two by Lester Madigan III and one by Terence Roderick. The Force defense also recorded three sacks, limiting the Bandits to negative four rushing yards on 16 carries. The Bandits managed only 120 passing yards and failed to find the end zone.

Bandits quarterback Anthony Nordquist struggled significantly, completing 16 of 32 passes with no touchdowns and five interceptions. Pedro Bradley was a standout on defense with two sacks but could not offset the poor offensive output.

The Force penalty count was low at three for 16 yards, compared to two penalties for 20 yards by the Bandits. Neither team converted a third down opportunity, indicating efficient drives for the Force and stalled possessions for the Bandits.

With the victory, the Force hold a 14-1 record and sit second in their division with a 5-1 mark. They have now clinched a playoff spot, keeping their postseason hopes alive as the regular season nears conclusion. The Bandits, now 4-11, have been eliminated from playoff contention.

The dominance displayed by the Force was evident throughout the game and sets a strong tone heading into the final weeks of the season.
