ORLANDO — The Orlando Renegades fell to the Force 16-10 at Camping World Stadium Sunday in a tightly contested Week 13 matchup. The loss snapped the Renegades' four-game winning streak, while the Force remained unbeaten at 13-0 on the season.

The game was marked by a strong defensive battle and limited scoring opportunities. Both teams struggled to capitalize in the red zone, with neither team converting a touchdown on red zone visits. The Renegades managed 188 passing yards and rushed for 31 yards, with quarterback John Rice completing 23 of 36 passes, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Renegades running back James Albert contributed a rushing touchdown and 41 receiving yards. Tight end Daniel Pipes led Orlando receivers with 74 yards.

The Force, led by quarterback George Coulter, who threw for 234 yards and one touchdown, executed a critical 62-yard touchdown strike to wide receiver Moe Lester early in the second quarter. Lester finished the game with 94 receiving yards and the Force’s lone touchdown. The team’s kicker, Donald Doubledoink, was a key factor, converting three field goals, including two in the final two minutes of the first half to give the Force a 13-0 halftime lead.

Orlando's defense registered two sacks and forced a fumble, recovering one. The Force's defense was even more disruptive with six sacks, including three by Robert Hodges and two by Justice Hammersmith. Both teams avoided penalties in the first half, but the Force committed three penalties for 15 yards overall.

The Renegades opened the scoring in the third quarter with a 1-yard touchdown pass from Rice to an unidentified receiver, narrowing the Force's lead to 13-7. However, the Force responded with strong special teams punting, consistently pinning Orlando deep and limiting scoring chances. Force punter John Hill's 51-yard punt late in the first quarter helped maintain field position advantages.

Despite a late surge, the Renegades failed to score again, settling for a lone field goal. The Force's defense held firm late in the game, denying the Renegades any further scoring opportunities.

The Renegades’ record now stands at 11-3, maintaining their division lead at 5-0, but their two-game losing streak presents challenges as they look ahead to the playoffs. The Force remains undefeated in the league and continues an impressive 13-game winning streak.

Renegades head coach Rueben Mahaffey will need to address the team’s offensive efficiency in the red zone and capitalize on scoring opportunities to break through top defensive teams like the Force in the postseason.
