1976 Draft

I am going to totally **** on the best opportunity I have been given....I know it and the league knows it

In desperate need of Secondary Help, but fear that targets will be taken by first pick in first round.
In desperate need of LB (Mainly MLB), but might have to settle on a high gamble by the time my pick comes around
In desperate need of DE, but know by time I get to pick, nothing will be left but scrubs.
With recent trade activity, need to get quality OL to replace and solidify Geritol purchasing linemen.
K Peeler is gone with the 5th round pick. The Team would be 9-7 if it wasn't for missed FG and missed PAT

I am surprised at all the high volatility guys going early. But, last year we had 10 guys with VOL of 65 or higher taken in the first round. So maybe I shouldn't be surprised. I am also surprised to see a center taken so high.

QB Rhyne could be the steal of the draft for Philadelphia Bell. Potentially 100 in everything.

I rated him too slow

Going with Kenneth Lo I guess. Whomever I take I will feel like I over drafted them but the rules say you have to take someone. Lo has the skill set to be a good TE, FB, or RB and his pass blocking is already pro level.

I really wanted an OL in this spot but they all felt like huge reaches in the 1st round so we'll address that later. When this happens I usually go best player available, and it's usually not a FB/TE type. I tried to take another position now despite my gaping hole at FB, thanks to greedy Dwight Sullivan, but I didn't want to pay any of them 1st round money when they might bust hard. At least Lo, or whatever his name ends up being, should play enough to justify the contract.

I would keep him at TE due to his speed and Pass Catching abilities and instead move Speck to FB due to being a better run blocker

Just my opinion

I used Speck some at FB last year when Sullivan was injured. Odds are they'll both move around some depending on injuries and how Lo shows in preseason.

Yeah, what will I know. You are a Divisional Champ who won your Division in what...Week 9 or 10, while I have yet to win a total of 10 games in my two seasons here.

That's not what I meant. I will likely use them just like you said, but with rookies I like to keep an open mind at least until I see them play.

Booger, you know more than you let on sometimes and just keep plugging away and the wins will come.

Will the NY Stars, who are in need of a WR, take one with their 2 picks in the second round?
