Our league is not the only one with "trade issues". NFL League is having one now https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/2016?page=1#8729.

I have a lot of things I could say about this but I'll keep them to myself for now. I'll just say I'm surprised this particular person has a problem with this trade.

I mean that is the same trade he made here for year eight WR. He hasn’t had a single season over like three wins here.

Not that I care just noting

My two cents...
I don't care. If someone can find another owner to make a really stupid trade, good for them. I'd do the same any time I could. :-)

Now Seth's partner in crime, Infinity On Trial weighed in on another trade in NFL League https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/2018?page=1&x=5jsI7W5u6E#8740.

What is it about all the crying about trades lately? It's not a good look as it seems to me it's just jealousy over someone else getting a sweet deal.

Idk what Seth and IOT think they're gonna accomplish anyway. Gustoon runs that league and he's hardly been active over the last calendar year or longer.

Seth got quiet after some comments by others and I literally just replied to IOT, so I can imagine his response. Idc though, let him talk, he's wrong and he's crying just like Seth.

I'm already into the hate part of the love/hate I have with MFN and now we have 2 candidates for the Mt. Rushmore of MFN crying about unbalanced trades.

In my defense, All I said initially was this:

"WOW!!!

Great trade for Smirt!!!

He maybe wins multiple Titles while Waitwut gets nothing in return for 3 full seasons."

After several more responses which spilled into discord did I actually call for it to be voided based on a sarcastic comment about feeding Smirt players which I misinterpreted as a statement of fact.

I don't care if a bad trade happens but I do care about someone intentionally feeding another owner players. MFN is hard enough to win and enjoy without having shenanigans going on.

Let me be clear, that wasn't the case here, I misunderstood waitwuts comment and reacted to that....not just the trade itself

We still living in the past?

Deleting all my comments - all I did was make a trade and all I saw was emotions get stirred.

From my perspective I have 10 top 64 picks over three seasons - eight prior to another great trade by me. I have WR a plenty and only up to go. Assuming I keep those picks and get lucky enough to go 50/50 (not the odds I’m rolling, just quoting) I received 2.5x player return and x amount of years of production. Not to mention any of my current roster that could still be viably playing in three seasons.

Cost of doing business in my opinion.

I'm just responded to Greg's comment about why are owners crying about trades.

I'm not trying to rehash the trade and its merits and my initial comment was simply:

WOW!

Great trade for Smirt!

Maybe you turn those 4 picks into the nucleus of a Championship team either through future trades or just using them yourself but I'm addressing the current situation which is that Smirt who is in my Conference and went 8-8 last season added to players with elite speed on his offense and instantly becomes a viable threat in the conference for the next few seasons.

I really don't have to worry about what Birmingham does since they aren't in my Conference unless we meet in the Title game!

Whatever comes from the trade for Birmingham is secondary to the impact the trade has in my own conference and I complimented Smirt on landing 2 essential pieces.

Am I jealous, sure it's a good win now deal for Smirt but I didn't ask for the trade to be voided until misinterpreting your comment about a fake conversation with Smirt where you said Smirt take these players and s#/+ all over the league while I figure out if I want to play MFN anymore.

That is all

Not necessarily related to this issue, but IoT just dropped his team in Paydirt after I told him I wouldn't be enforcing the old league rules that no one was paying any attention to anyway.

Got 3 openings there now if anyone is interested.

No, not living in the past, rather showing that this issue is happening in other league's too. There were some bad trades made recently in NFL League and Seth wanted the first trade reversed while the second trade, IOT just asked people to send him good picks for aging vets.

I got into a little back and forth with them there and Seth really surprised me, demanding I explain why I have the opinion I have, like how dare I not agree with him.

Waitwut, there is no issue with your trade with Smirt, that's all water under the bridge.
