We still living in the past?
From my perspective I have 10 top 64 picks over three seasons - eight prior to another great trade by me. I have WR a plenty and only up to go. Assuming I keep those picks and get lucky enough to go 50/50 (not the odds I’m rolling, just quoting) I received 2.5x player return and x amount of years of production. Not to mention any of my current roster that could still be viably playing in three seasons.
Cost of doing business in my opinion.
I'm just responded to Greg's comment about why are owners crying about trades.
I'm not trying to rehash the trade and its merits and my initial comment was simply:
WOW!
Great trade for Smirt!
Maybe you turn those 4 picks into the nucleus of a Championship team either through future trades or just using them yourself but I'm addressing the current situation which is that Smirt who is in my Conference and went 8-8 last season added to players with elite speed on his offense and instantly becomes a viable threat in the conference for the next few seasons.
I really don't have to worry about what Birmingham does since they aren't in my Conference unless we meet in the Title game!
Whatever comes from the trade for Birmingham is secondary to the impact the trade has in my own conference and I complimented Smirt on landing 2 essential pieces.
Am I jealous, sure it's a good win now deal for Smirt but I didn't ask for the trade to be voided until misinterpreting your comment about a fake conversation with Smirt where you said Smirt take these players and s#/+ all over the league while I figure out if I want to play MFN anymore.
That is all
