Thanks a lot everyone, I wanted to win this one real bad for personal and league reasons. I have a team in NFL League that I felt was the best in the league, yet they lost the last 2 Super Bowls and I lost World Bowl XXIII last year. I can't remember which LC game came before that, but overall I think I end up losing about 2 out of 3 LC games overall. A 3-5 World Bowl record isn't great but it's better than 2-6 and I can finally stop writing about the American Conference winning 13 in a row.
That was an incredible streak, mostly beating up on Washington (5 times), Baltimore (3 times) and my Generals (3 times). I'm really surprised Washington never got 1, the Federals had some awesome teams, as did Baltimore under 4343.
The 13 year winning streak put Tony Dean in the national spotlight as the Houston Gamblers were responsible for 6 of the 13 wins in a row, beating New Jersey twice, Washington twice, Baltimore and Birmingham. The Memphis Showboats and Portland Storm won 3 each during the streak and the Denver Gold won the other one.
I hope it's not another 13 seasons before the National Conference sees another title.
