Thank you for pointing this out to me. Even though it appears to be a case of AI preseason hijinks, I can't watch everything. This could have been a huge problem had it been done on purpose by an unaware owner and nobody tells me. I much prefer being alerted to a potential problem that turns out to be nothing than not being alerted and having a molehill turn into a mountain.

For the rest reading Smirt's post though, I had nothing to do with a new owner joining a public league and cutting half his roster. Smirt's just scared that I will take down his juggernaut in the playoffs. But now that he thinks I'm cheating, he'll probably try to break out his punt block exploit to smoke me.

JDB can read PMs and track IPs. People in the league were way too quick to locate the cuts and have bids in.

The offending GM joined right before Game #16 and then cut leading into it. I'm 100% certain it's a feeder account and a gimmick concocted by other title contenders like Bling, per se, to get talent before the playoffs. I'm not worried about you. I got 95 titles. I'm good.

I don't like cheating and obvious behind the scenes manipulating - not fighting within the sim engine but going on PM and getting secondary accounts to rig the game.

I'll leave you alone now but when you come up for a game...you and me...I'll be sure to be in full-on mean mugging mode. :)

im pretty sure this has to do with being thin a the position and fatigue-injuries-play formation sets in. The game fills that needed position with the best available player. I've had this happen on occasions since I first joined MFN. It happened to me this pre-season as well. I guess that's better than the game putting a DT back there. I think this is mostly a pre-season deal.

But I can say that I've never seen a player have 3 INTs on 3 consecutive series before. **** I think I'd be switching this guys position to a DB and see how he does. Maybe he's a born ball hawk. Well unless he can score TD receptions on 3 consecutive series. Then that guy needs to be paid in a big way. lol

It's the preseason and if you take out starters after the 1st quarter or 2nd quarter...the sim will use players not in the depth chart to fill positions.

WR at DB has been a well known exploit for getting interceptions so its nothing new. Speed, pass catching, B&R and Courage works as well on defense as it does on offense.

The only way this happens in the regular season is extremely low fatigue coupled with a very short depth chart.

I have to say I have no f-ing clue what is going on.

First off, apparently seth doesn't have a punter, so I had a few punt blocks. Watching the game, I noticed his K was punting then checked his roster to see he has no P. But this post isn't about calling him out for that.

This is about what the **** is going on with my special teams depth chart. The notorious Richard Robinson (WR), who got me in trouble in the preseason for playing defense, was the one blocking the punts. I was afraid that was going to get me in trouble, but apparently anyone can rush the punt in 4.6 here.

But Richard Robinson is nowhere to be seen in my Punt Rush depth chart. I actually have 10 players listed in the Punt Rush depth chart. I just auto-set this and don't even look at. So after getting the punt blocks, I downloaded the game details to see what was happening.

The details show only ST Rusher positions 1-4 being filled. The rest of the guys on the punt return team were Gunners. This happened on every punt. Robinson, I think, is listed as my #3 Gunner. So that somehow got him on the field for punt return. (Along with my #1 RB and #1 WR, neither of which are on my ST depth chart anywhere.

I checked another of my teams that simmed last night and it might be even weirder. The first punt return players were accurate. The next 6 punt returns had gunners on the field, and then the last 2 were correct again.

Am I going crazy? Anyone else seeing this?
