I make exceptions at 2 to 3 pounds for anyone that is clearly trying to reach weight. Being vets, they deserve the benefit of the doubt...IMO

The player this thread was originally about, Chris Smith, is now on the waiver wire. His listed position is RDE but if anyone claims him or signs him later, he will need to be changed to a LB.
