1986 Season

It's almost time for another season of USFL/WFL football. The games don't count yet but they're still important for player development. Good luck and good health to all teams.

5 injuries in first game, someone tell me they got more than me so i’m not so annoyed with week one lol

Ask, and ye shall receive. More in quantity, and without looking - I'm sure more in severity.



All this, after one single pre-season game. Ridiculous.

Always nice to get an omen like this at the start of a season.

Brutal, preseason injuries are the worst. Might be time to fire the training staff.

You might be on to something. All the severe injuries are ankle, leg, & knee - whatever off-season conditioning they did, they failed with the bottom half of the body.

Good game, Showboats. The competition keeps coming (Dragon up next) although that's a good and bad thing in preseason.

6 injured too. Mostly 3-4 weeks.

Hapless showing from my first team offense is a sorry indicator of things to come ... at least my ancient secondary is hanging together, for now
