Average, Familiarity, or Times used

When making a game plan, which is the best way to go, offensively and defensively

I tend to prioritize familiarity dead last on this list. Familiarity climbs so slowly that most of us are utilizing plays where that figure remains pretty low.

Defensively I look at # times called and average. Usually over a 3 game period and adjust accordingly.

Offense it’s average then times called.

If there are more than ten plays that look like they will be used, I narrow it down by which ones we are less familiar with.

Thousand Island dressing. That’s the special sauce.

Mmmmmm, Big Mac...

I do basically the same thing as Mc does, except I on offense I do times called and pick the 10 most successful plays out of, say, the 20 most used plays...

And I don't think this is the special sauce, I think it's more like the middle piece of bread. It's not that integral, there are more important things... but it makes the sandwich a bit better...
