The VooDoo State 1981

The New Orleans VooDoo front office has taken notice with the teams-19-7 loss to Shreveport. “This is are most embarrassing loss in our history of the USFL/WFL without a doubt.” said owner Greyghost. There was very little in the game that showed them to be championship contenders as in previous seasons. This could be due to the injuries to starters: LB Ramon Boldt, LB Anthony Munoz, and RB Kenneth Boyd. In their absence rookie RB Bernard McCarty ran for 16 carries for 73 yards and is the leading VooDoo rusher this season. Another rookie making an impact was LB Paul Rivera who totaled 15 tackles. That was about the best New Orleans could hope for as the rest of the team napped.

There are definite changes that need to be made in VooDoo land and with greyghost at the helm, expect the changes to come sooner than later.
