Well, first game under new management. I have to say, we are slower than a turtle stuck in a mud pie. Slow across the board. We will finish out the season and look to revamp this squad with some young athletic talent. Stay tuned!

Bandits are all in on the FA scene this year. With 29 players currently under contract and no high draft picks, the Bandits look to be high roller in this FA market where there is some significant talent. Bandits will identify and add pieces to the puzzle and should be vastly improved over last years 8-8 record.

As the new season is upon us, word out of Tampa is that team officials are excited to see how this team comes out of the gate. The FO spent a lot of time upgrading the skill positions and obtaining some young and talented DBs. All are fast but need to work on cover skills. On the offensive side, they upgraded the backfield with pure speed and got lucky with 1st round pick Conner at WR to give this team some dangerous game breaking potential.

The Bandits move one game closer to every teams dream. Team officials will never admit in public that expectations were to improve not to make their first ever conference championship. The addition of Harvell at QB and some speed in the backfield paired with rookie OConnor and 2nd yr player Popa on the outside has exceeded all expectations.

More surprising is the defense. We went into the season thinking we’d have to win some shoot outs. This no name defense ranks 5th overall and we are still trying to figure that one out. With 3 first round picks in the next draft we hope to remain in the LC discussions for years to come.
