gardiner moved to 3-4 as head coach of the philadelphia bell, recording his first back to back victories, but this narrow win against chicago blitz owed more to lady luck that good gameplanning.throughout the early stages we got hit with heavy dose of the blitz run game and short passing game and throughout the first 20 minutes it was backs to the wall and although we didnt give u[p a ton of points we trailed 10-0 then somehow after being pretty abysmal hernandez hit on a deep ball to reduce the arrears and suddenly from being down and out ,the bell started fighting that bit harder and the blitz from being totally dominant suddenly starting making mistakes, truth be told the blitz shaded this game and probably deserved the win,but the defence held them to field goals instead of touchdowns and we kept tacking on the points .going into final 2 mins bell held a narrow lead but blitz managed to drill through 3 points .the 2 min drill worked to perfection as bell got to the limit of albertsons range and as time expired he nailed the winner.we know its gonna be a tough journey turning around the ship in philadelphia but we are playing tough which was about all we could aim for after taking over in week 5.we got cap issues to deal with the next couple of seasons and a whole host of highly paid vets on long contracts that we need to run down and get off the books but slowly and surely the fans in philadelphia are leaving the stadium with a smile on their faces
at left guard we have starter theo moulder as only natural player in this position, moulder is a very good young player drafted in 3rd round by the bell 3 years ago,hes locked up for another couple of years on cheap contract so the staff are looking to bring in depth but we dont feel the need to look for startin calibre player as we have theo in the trenches
