next up for the philadelphia bell were the florida blazers and what followed was a pleasant surprise after a few weeks of standards dropping, the lads responded with a tough error free performance to edge passed the florida blazers.we heading into match up considered as underdogs despite home field advantage.the game was a bit of a bore fest with defences on top and yardage and time of possession pretty equal, but bell defence was inspired and shut out the solid blazers offence.offensively brown kept chugging along at over 4 yards a carry and hernandez didnt turn the ball over today.defensively jason richards showed why hes so highly thought of in seattle with a performance all over the field with 8 tackles 1 sack and 1 pick.its hoped the defence would turn in this level of performance every week whilst the young inexperienced players on offence gain valuable experience.overall coaching staff were delighted with this and its our best performance of the season.
at left tackle we only have 1 player on our books and although he picked up injury vs the blazers we have no concerns about his long term position as our starting left tackle.daniel mclaughlin is only in his 2nd season and has improved to 86/92.hes under contract for at least 3 more years and hes everything you want in a tackle strong fast highly intelligent and disciplined and his blocking attributes are about as high as you can get.the only thing we need to do here is bring in some depth
