next up were division leading new jersey generals and what followed was a heavy defeat,we feel we got scholled on the side lines here as generals dominated time of possession 40 mins to 20mins,racked up over 200 yards of rushing and aerially were very efficient.whilst offensively out coaching staff got away from run early and the passing game was very weak.if anything this team is losing its identity as season progresses,its times like now gardiner and his staff are looking at which players are stepping up as leaders.
next up for team review is wide out stable and bell have 8 guys on the books with whole range on the table from 2 x 10 year vets too 2 x rookies.the main issues here are lack of speed the fastest guys here are only mid 70s with alot of vets sub 50 and they cant get open.this room will need some fat trimmed off it. wr nicholls is out of contract at end of season and with his experience ticking over too 10 years,its thought gardiner wont be renewing his contract.another guy looking over his shoulder is 3rd year wide out donald jones whose struggling to even get near the playing field and with no bonus with his contract cutting him would free up much needed cap and roster space without any finiacial mismanagement.a couple of young guys on roster and contributing well in situiational roles and we have high hopes for anderson and caviness.
