On the eve of the trading deadline, and looking at the possibility of another season with a losing record, there are several offers from different owners sitting on management's desk that they are seriously thinking about. Here are some of them.
Birmingham Stallions
RB/QB Robert Burns and Houston's 1979 6th round pick in exchange for Birmingham's 1979 and 1980 3rd round picks.
Baltimore Stars
CB Eugene Holland , RB Burns, and Houston's 1981 7th round pick in exchange for Baltimore's 1980 1st round pick.
Boston Breakers
MLB David Burt in exchange for Boston's 1979, 1980, and 1981 4th Round picks
Los Angeles Express
MLB Burt in exchange for the Express's 1979 3rd round pick
Honolulu Hawaiians
CB Holland in exchange for
RDE Stanley Thompson , Honolulu's 1979 3rd and 4th round pick
Baltimore Stars
CB Holland in exchange for the 1979 2nd round pick that the Stars got thru a Boston Breakers trade.
Memphis Showboats
SLB Lamar Reynolds in exchange for Memphis's 1979 3rd and 4th Round picks. Management is thinking about rejecting this trade due to 1) Being a Division Opponent, and 2) Houston is 0-10 lifetime against Memphis, but is still considering it if it will help the team.
Shreveport Steamer
LDE Donald Barry in exchange for the Steamer's 1979 and 1981 3rd round picks
Houston will also consider any "Last Minute" trade offers.
Any advise or opinions in helping me decide on these trades would be greatly appreciated. PM's are preferred but don't care if the league replies and discuss amongst themselves.
