With less than 10 hours before the last game of the preseason game, many Owners are expected to not play their projected starters for that game. And frankly, I don't blame them. The game is mostly for the "ones on the bubble" of making the teams to showcase their talents in hopes of impressing coaches so they will not have to apply for unemployment in their adopted hometown. I drafted 15 OL and signed 3 others. That's 3 deep at every front line position. Obviously, I cannot keep all of them. But I have yet to the starting 5 begin a game, reducing their overall experience to be gained. A challenge I will take and hoping my second round draft choice doesn't get hurt once the season starts.
Some of the OL who will make the team are
Rookie RGs Kenneth Killebrew,
Earl White, and
3 yr veteran LT John Wyatt due their versatility to play every position on the line without any loss of talent. And all three players are on the trading block if other teams are interested. Yes, it is true that they will not be starters, but I consider all 3 to be capable backups. But that is still 3 spaces that others are fighting for.
The Gamblers also have the third highest amount of Rookies on the team, some by signings but majority by draft.
I'm not very good at continueing thought so I hope all enjoyed
