Best rookie QB season in a down draft for QBs. Probably could have gotten more yards if I had opened the offense up.

Blackburn had the lowest allowed catch % among regular starters. I'm happy with that

Te Mayfield had 1100 yards and 11 tds

The number of times nominated for rookie of the week is the first method for determining who goes on the ballot. Combing through the stats just to determine who goes on the ballot requires more time, and I am already giving plenty of that.

Reece ranked No. 19 in QBR among players with the minimum qualifying pass attempts (224) and No. 27 overall. Not sure anyone was going to vote for him over Max Howard.

I didn't say he should win it.
